Are right well this is what we are reaching out there is some new progress that's happening right now against the devastating wildfires that we have been covering throughout the week in the American last.
These new pictures are showing us -- heartbreaking damage that has already been done.
In New Mexico -- they're calling that when the little bear fire and is reducing homes to smoldering balance of these pictures for some.
Decades of work of building a life and home.
Were gone in a flash.
It was hard to believe that it was standing -- three hours before.
And then it was gone just total devastation.
A life time of war.

It's going to be hard to physically.

Yeah hi -- -- there you know there are fires burning all over the western part of the country it's hard to believe but nineteen.
Different fires burning in nine different states.
And it's safe to say the most troubling one right now is called the Hyde Park fire this one is in Colorado just west of Fort Collins.
It started on Saturday apparently from a lightning strike so far it has spread to 68 square miles destroying about a hundred structures.
And killing one person a 62 year old woman who died in her -- unable to escape the flames right now there is only 10%.
Containment.
We're here for the long haul.
This fire no matter what happens on the containment they're still going to be a long period of time when there's so.
We're getting those things in place we feel like we're really get our feet solidly under -- Biggest progress we've got black on the -- So we've got 10% containment and that's where it starts and every -- the containment numbers gonna walk -- as as we begin to -- to -- lines together.
Crews are there are working very hard.
And the Colorado governor has declared a state of emergency making all kinds of federal aid available about twenty million bucks.
And -- boy do they need it.
-- to you so that's the Colorado situation the other big fires the one that we mentioned in New Mexico the little -- fire what's the latest on that -- -- -- Yeah well now one has been particularly devastating because it's already destroyed over 200 homes and other structures.
This fire also again -- started by lightning strike over the weekend.
Firefighters though may be getting the upper hand on this blaze.
As of last night it was 35%.
Contained and they're looking to make more progress today -- in addition to all the local firefighters there 4000.
Federal firefighters.
