Next guest always dreamed of a perfect family.

Being a mom was instilled in.

Her from a very very young age when she found her husband -- -- believed that they were destined to be a family they have four children and couldn't have been happier.

Until a horrible plane crash nearly cost them their lives and changed everything forever some times.

The greatest nuggets of inspiration come from those people.

Who think they have nothing left in terms of hope.

And then they turn it around Stephanie Nelson as best selling author of heaven is here Stephanie thank you for being here with us.

Thanks for having me I told a little bit of your story you find your way back to happiness.

I think it was -- your way back is.

-- for me it was always there it was it was a life that that I want it and I knew that fighting hard to get there get back to that.

Was how I was gonna get -- so I just worked really hard and it was -- it was horrible but.

They knew it was still there and it's -- just.

Need to happen OK I -- talk with you about what happens in your life and then tell me maybe.

Well let's let's do that first what exactly happened I know about the plane -- 2008 take us back.

2008 -- -- artists.

My husband and I and our five hour.

-- instructor Christians -- instructor.

Just one where Dave Wright and the plane crashed and we had just -- -- So it blew up basically just crashed landed blew up.

And I was stuck in the back of the airplane -- I couldn't I couldn't get out and finally got my seat belt -- and and got out of the airplane and rolled enrolled and extinguished the flames and then.

And then the next thing you remember it was ambulance.

Coming in and and the workers saying OK you -- going to be some pain medication.

And they gave me some and I woke up about three and a half months later in the hospital only costs -- to -- crawl out of -- molten airplane.

80% in his final -- He and your family what what condition were there.

My husband was burned about 30%.

And am.

And he was also in a coma for about five and a half weeks.

And then my sisters just picked up my kids and and we're planning on taking them and and they had planned on I'm taking them forever if needs be they didn't know hat if I was gonna live.

But it it turned out that that I recovered and my has been recovered and families just amazing.

While all right so -- makes you different from everybody else because I'm sure viewers are watching and they're saying why would work for happiness I worked to turn it around.

What is there a secret is there a nugget that the rest of us are missing.

It's god I believe it's got in life if you have less faith -- face in something bigger than yourself.

Then you are able to get through anything and I and that's what that's what's helped me and family.

Have a family relationships are everything and they've really.

Been.

Life saving for me in my life and and I also just that we're stronger than we think we are and there's hope there's always hope to -- better ticket to get out of depression today.

To move on and then I found that and I'm able to do that now.

And sometimes will chime in on other things inspiration and hope were two things that we all need in our lives.

This is one of those times and and I'm just curious to know.

Do you ever find yourself saying that if this hadn't happened fill in the blank.

-- Yeah but now it's mostly.

It if this had happened that I wouldn't have learned these amazing lessons of -- learning or.

My children -- wouldn't know this in this and that's because of but I just feel like I'm so much more blast and I learned so -- more.

Valuable lessons for me and my children that that wouldn't definitely would've happened if it hadn't been for this accident.

And I want to live my life that way I want to live.

Not if this hadn't happened but -- since this happened this this is happening and I'm happier that way.

I started my blog in 2005 -- is a way to to keep in touch with family and somehow it kind of became popular among that other mothers and and and then after the accident.

It became as great source where people who have had similar.

-- accidents or problems or just anybody.

And it's it's kind of been therapy for me I've been able to array of feelings and concerns and and itself silly as -- waited to journal my life and how what I'm doing and where I'm going all right real quickly the name of the block we popped it up on screen.
