You might say it hasn't been a good month for President Obama he's been getting hit from all sides with job growth stalled a big loss for the Democratic Party in Wisconsin's recall election.
At a major disconnect on messaging with former President Bill Clinton.
Really just the tip the iceberg the ones glowing coverage coverage in the mainstream media has -- just a -- -- talk about it with.
Here with us Pulitzer Prize winning investigative reporter Judith Miller.
And Daily Beast columnist hears from powers both of them are Fox News contributors you have to love Dana will banks opening line in the Washington Post today.
It has been eight Junius -- a bill us for President Obama is he right.
Well he is conservative and he's critical of Obama has been for a long time that yes it's been truly not a good week for the president.
And there's been a lot of bad news on the employment front the numbers -- -- -- The press is finally beginning to catch up with the news.
Let me read a couple of quotes regarding the speech yesterday from Politico Michael Brian's -- begged the president to stop during his 54 minute.
Speech yesterday he said in terms of politics this.
MSNBC's Jonathan Alter said it was one of the worst speeches I've ever heard Barack Obama make what's happened to a lot of.
There Jonathan -- definitely loves the president there's no questions so yeah I I think the tingles are not going up the legs as much as they used to be -- -- -- -- -- and -- as I.
-- Q there's been a lot about is little hard for them to ignore it the problem with his speech was at the White House.
Built it up and that made reporters think of something big is coming and then he just gave his usual -- stump speech and I think they were frustrated because it felt like.
Where's the news -- -- we here but also at twice the length and yeah.
Nobody likes being lectured -- which which several reporters said that to me was like a lecture economics one -- one.
And yet he still didn't explain.
The economic policies that have supposedly staved off a depression.
So it was a lose lose.
As far as the media work right Devin Dwyer from ABC wrote it up Obama's speech in Ohio felt more lecture or courtroom arguments.
Then rally.
Exactly so we.
And and we haven't talked about the Supreme Court ruling on health care which is expected this month's -- and could deal the the Obama White House yet another blow.
Right on the other hand it might also be -- -- silver lining in that sale at the Obama administration would be able to blames someone else.
That is the court for a program for killing a program which is proving to be wildly unpopular.
With large segments of American so I'm not sure how this will cut politically.
So that the media.
Is it I mean can President Obama win them back if in fact he has lost -- -- Well -- thing -- he has certainly lost them because that would mean he lost them to Romney and and there are still on his side fundamentally it's not like they're rallying behind Romney.
I'll become Romney fans which I don't think there's much danger of happening I think that they're just actually now.
Being slightly more responsible and acting a little more like journalists but at the end of the day.
They don't have the appetite for example for investigations into the White House that they had with George Bush if you look at this -- this whole situation with the leaks.
I mean we don't have that feeding frenzy that we would have if this was George Bush.
And and that -- You know they have just they they've asked some questions but there there.
Sort of cursory -- feel like it's not really pursuing dutiful if there had there's no passion there there's no quote drumbeat.
Of stories day after day demanding.
A special prosecutor -- I'm happy to say hit -- what.
This roll out just this morning from the Department of Homeland Security of these new rules applying to.
Young Latinos I mean is that for the good of the country years of that for the good of the president's reelection campaign well I think -- everything from this point on has to be seen in terms of what it will do to the election campaign.
That's part of what president Obama's going to be fighting from now on even if he does something that.
Many people feel is needed or long overdue it's going to be.
That's portrayed as a political action he's not going to be -- to run away from -- well and Republicans are gonna have trouble arguing.
Are against it because Latino voters are such a key component of the upcoming election right.
They are but that they've art and it and -- met Ronnie does a major major pivot on Latinos they're gonna go with Obama awesome that he would have to radically changed his position when he took during that.
The the primary.
What's which he's he very well may do but it at but at this point I think the Republican -- -- being so hostile to -- Tina we talked earlier into the week the president has lost.
A lot of support among white working class voters even among poor voters even among African Americans he's lost some support.
According to the polls but holdings problem looking up.
Yes well that's because of the flatness of the earth the rap on him I mean the only thing he could do I think his pick someone like rubio I'm not even sure.
Mark rubio at this point would help the Republican -- -- that I'm talking about the president the president has has not lost much support among Latinos and the yellow golf course not because there's no one to go to I mean that's that's why they Hispanics are holding fast but the president I think Judy Miller and -- powers thank you both and you can hear more about the important stories of the week and how they are covered tomorrow.
To -- to FOX News Watch 2:30 PM eastern time.
Yes again I'll be hosting.
