Meanwhile the US and five other world powers hold talks tomorrow in Moscow on Iran's nuclear program.
The talks putting president Obama's policy on Iran in the spotlight his administration -- you -- know -- been focused on sanctions to rain into Iran's nuclear work.
But Republican presidential candidate assumed candidate governor Mitt Romney saying he'd do the exact opposite of what the president has done the opposite.
What is the best approach -- Iran no one probably knows better than former Israeli ambassador to the united name.
-- Fox News contributor Dan -- ambassador good morning.
Good morning gentlemen so nice to have you here great to be with you more talks will anything get done.
I hope very much something gets done but it's certainly won't -- and done through talks has been fought -- little tool -- And I mean far too much still couldn't follow through -- election.
And you know the Middle East our regional very tough neighborhood.
Is very much of -- perception.
And the Iranians are watching very carefully and -- watching the US and the international community and the president very carefully.
And what do they see.
They see the present them to and the US abandoning the Iranian people when they go off to the streets against the idea to us.
They see this administration.
The scalding Hosni Mubarak.
And long time -- two year old ally and throwing him under the bus.
They see.
Bashar Assad allowed to -- truth tens of thousands of people including women and children does that and days.
Run all of these things of course it does and any Iran Syria sees this president pouring more and -- Israel.
Attacking Iran than about Iran becoming nuclear so what do with the Iranians -- -- -- -- and off all the way to the bomb that's what they do.
We'll at this point the sanctions the toughest ones we've seen so far are in place and I saw this quote that I thought was interesting.
From someone who studies the region you're talking about.
The reality is there are meaning Iran on the verge of a choice between having a nuclear program or an economy.
Does that mean that the sanctions are working that Tehran is actually feeling the pinch.
The sanctions are far more effective than they -- -- But I think the Iranians will need much more -- just economic problems.
To make them realize that they're on the wrong road.
In their quest for nuclear work what is their only way the Iranians would stop.
Is that they realize that the world led by the United States and its president.
Means business and will actually.
Take military action if everything -- -- at the moment the Iranians do not believe that.
The policy and all of those things outlined before do not indicate that and in our very tough neighborhood.
What you see is what you've got to what do you wings are seeing at the moment or at least perceiving this what this scene.
Is America which is showing weakness hesitancy.
And does not have the resolve which they would believe.
To strike them if they did believe that believe me they would behave differently they did -- Nuclear program in 2003.
When they realize that America -- business and went into Iraq.
What about now governor Romney.
Were just months away from the election says he would do exactly the opposite of this administration do you get a clear sense.
Of what he means what do you think governor Romney would do let's say on day one -- an administration.
-- you know Jamie it's.
Very difficult for me to -- see -- government governor Romney would do.
And it may even be wrong for me to meddle in American politics but I think the main thing to realize is that he may do the right thing.
But we simply don't have time to wait until that moment.
You're saying by the time January comes along and there's an inauguration -- their reelection of President Obama.
Or governor Romney becoming president it's already too late for that kind of action you're talking about.
It may be too late time is running out and when we talk and both those talks which -- almost -- the Moscow tomorrow.
After talks and but the other few weeks ago and before that in this stumble.
The Iranians are using those talks to love the world put it to sleep and played the clock.
And this is money time and we don't have time to wait until January.
Whether the president is reelected to lose a new president to see what happens he -- have to believe.
That this is going to happen now.
Before it's too late before they reached a point to from or to and I assure you is what will do everything to make sure they don't get the -- But we expect international community led by a strong America.
To do it and not -- -- so.
Ambassador -- please come back after these talks and tell us what your thoughts are as well.
Always great to have you here thank you and welcome back community ambassador good to see if accurate the CEO -- -- -- -- -- passing -- him.
