Do not know Roger Clemens was -- diseases or anyone else but he has been exonerated and found not guilty on old six counts facing him about lying to congress.

Are either covered up obstructing justice over his alleged drug -- of the poor performance enhancing drugs we're learning now from our producer on the scene at the Justice Department.

Quite frankly it's none of the government's business what the contents of his blood was to remember this is the second trial.

The first trial was a mistrial after the government introduced evidence that the court had excluded this is the second trial.

So not only has the taxpayer spent about three million dollars prosecuting this -- Roger Clemens is not about the same defending it.

I believe it's a just result as a Yankee fan I'm happy about the result.

But as a taxpayer I'm not happy with the waste of government time and money.

All gone well I can tell you from our producer inside we've just gotten word that Roger Clemens is not guilty on all counts all six counts against him.

And of perjury so this is a great day for Roger Clemens one of the greatest baseball players of all time a bad day for prosecutors here in Washington DC.

In the federal court system because as you know they try this case once last summer and got a mistrial.

Because of prosecutorial misconduct they came back again the jury deliberated over the past several days beginning last Tuesday then took a few days break.

Came back and resume deliberations today a jury of eight women and four men and they decided Roger Clemens is not guilty all of the six federal counts against him.

This is a Roger Clemens who remains arguably one of the greatest pitchers of all time.

Will not be facing jail time whether or not he used performance enhancing drugs will always be a subject of great -- and debate but whether he lied about it now at least in the eyes of a jury in Washington is not.
