Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Maria Molina from the fox -- weather center with your forecast for.

-- southern plains as well as a southwest and -- today it's going to be another hot day out across the state of Texas.

Specially western parts of your state like in Amarillo -- expecting a high temperature and 96 degrees.

97 over in Midland and in the triple digits once again for the city of El Paso -- were expecting a high.

To -- a 105.

Degrees as a heading east where not too far from what's typical this time of the year I mean it's June it's supposed to be on the warm side he's an 87.

88 over in -- -- and expecting a high at 89 degrees.

And the city of Shreveport -- a container track west where we do have some very serenely hot temperatures.

Is across the desert southwest -- once again we do actually have some excessive heat warnings in place across parts of Southern California -- -- southwestern Arizona.

What only should be a high temperature in Phoenix 106 in Tucson and 105.

Over in this city of Vegas so once -- gets -- hot it's actually live -- a dangerous citing -- need to make sure you stay hydrated.

And also try to stay out of a son during those peak sunlight hours like around noon 1 o'clock an awesome 2 o'clock.

Not really expecting much rain out across a four corners region we really need the rain out here not only are we in a drought.

But we've also had an unrelated fire danger in currently -- wildfires still burning out across this region.

Unfortunately we're still seeing some gusty winds out across portions of Colorado.

And with wind gusts in excess of fifty miles per hour possible out there they should begin to die down now.

As we head into the next day or so across the central plains relatively quiet as well across Oklahoma Kansas Missouri.

As far as rainfall goes but you are going to see some moisture -- on his -- into eastern portions on the -- at Texas.

And also across Louisiana about -- how we head into Wednesday morning you're gonna start to see some of that moisture across eastern Texas.

Shifting -- -- towards central Texas so -- in -- in medium run up by early Wednesday morning otherwise four corners region Nevada California still on the dry side.

And then by Thursday morning some -- -- make it into central plains.

And as well as some cooler temperatures that will be bringing in a bit over at least that heat -- -- Europe currently and will continue to experience through at least Wednesday out across the plains.

Otherwise Texas Brownsville southern tip of Texas you could be seeing some showers.
