They're growing tensions with -- supposed an ally in the fight against terror no surprise -- Pakistan according to the Associated Press.

The US is reaching the end of its patients with the country upset over the failure to stop militants from attacking Americans.

In neighboring Afghanistan.

And the US now said to be considering new Covert commando raids against those militant groups in Pakistan.

Joining us now live captain Chuck -- a former US navy captain -- Fox News military analysts -- Nash great to see you.

Nice to be back with -- it -- to me when I was researching this that what we train the Afghan forces.

Which the US has done with six sacks.

Did what it not in the back of our minds that we might need them to cross the -- -- aren't ours and their behalf.

Possibly on our behalf and possibly to secure the border.

But.

I I don't know did we ever contemplated doing combined raids inside Pakistan.

Because probably back then we were looking at that being.

Really -- -- liar operation because we were trying to build a sustainable relationship with Pakistan.

And respect.

The the -- nature of the Pakistani state.

Were paying a price for that though so the doctor that helped us find Osama bin Laden.

He it's hit it.

If you look up duplicitous in the dictionary there's there's a map a Pakistan right next to it it's really a problem.

And some say that our relationship is worse than it's ever been it's never really been that great to start where.

Have -- network is growing their hair they got sanctuaries.

We really do you have to be concerned about it that's a given.

What do we do about the government.

Well it it this is we've tried the incentives Jamie we've tried that literally paying people.

We caught foreign aid we do things but you know money goes to all kinds of different places.

We tried the incentives it's probably time to start looking at the disincentives to one -- in the Covert ops then what what is different about them.

Well first off these are just rumored and you know whether it came from yet another leak out of Washington or not and if so.

You know I I really go with Secretary -- -- new strategic communications policy witches shut the bleep up.

But too many people are talking about too many things so.

In a general sense of this.

Were -- to contemplate and actually perform.

Ground combat operations in Pakistan without the ability of the Pakistani military to support those operations.

This is it is turning into such a mess that the only way we can get the government's attention.

Is to really tell them it's in your interest because when we pull out in a year or so this is all -- -- be on your back because we're -- in -- staying in the neighborhood.

You would think you wouldn't even have to make that argument I I know with these the haqqani people are -- -- -- threat they're bigger threat to Pakistan as they art us.

Captain Nash thanks for -- giving us some more insight on that.

We appreciate that you are right pro.
