Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Mario Molina out from the fox extreme weather center with your forecast for.

The southeast and we are still dealing with tropical storm -- out across the Gulf of Mexico and used in this is a system that's producing.

A lot of heavy rain over northern parts of the seat -- Florida and also across southeastern Georgia we already have reports.

I've anywhere between ten to twelve inches of rain across areas like Apalachicola Florida even the Gainesville area and also in Jacksonville Florida so again that northern part of Florida right along the I ten quarter.

Really -- into the heavy rain.

The past few days and even as we head into the next 48 hours because we could still see another foot of ranged in that area we are expecting landfall from tropical storm -- it's expected to reading Maine as a tropical storm when he makes landfall later in the day tomorrow into early Thursday morning and that's gonna need to the west.

The city of Gainesville then the system could briefly become a tropical depression as it weakens -- -- Before re emerging as we head into late this week and into the weekend.

All over western parts of the Atlantic Ocean and it's actually forecast to begin to strengthen once again by early Friday morning with maximum sustained winds and at forty miles per hour right now tropical storm -- does have maximum sustained winds of 45 miles per outward it's moving slowly to the east.

At about three miles per hour but -- -- center of the storm -- is not the big story it's all of that heavy rain and flooding that we have over Florida and still a tornado concern for today.

Now temperatures are gonna remain relatively cool.

Crosses it a Florida because of all the cop cover that you have so widespread -- into the eighties as we head west words.

It is very hot we're dealing with a heat wave out across the plains and we're seeing some of those hot temperatures.

Making their way towards portions of Arkansas and also Louisiana where into the upper eighties -- afternoon 98 over in Jackson.

Mississippi has to continue our track north toward not to bad and -- -- expecting a high temperatures today.

At 83 degrees but that large area of high pressure's gonna slowly creep eastward.

So areas like Tennessee Kentucky dank U Alabama those temperatures -- during the afternoon hours.

Will be on the rise over the next several days as a heat wave continues to expand towards east otherwise -- will continue to produce more heavy rain today and also as we head into tomorrow.

Plan to see those gusty winds lingering then by later in the day on Thursday into early Wednesday we could be -- the storm system or most of the heavy rain.

Winding down across northern parts of Florida and finally some improvement in the weather conditions out there in South Florida still looks -- to be a soggy day for you early Wednesday.

Have a great day everyone I'm meteorologist Mario Molina from the fox extreme weather center.
