People -- reasonable.

We go in cycles like this right now a lot of people are saying all Americans.

-- -- doing terribly missing that we what are we gonna do let me tell yourself.

There's no problem out there -- no challenge we face that we do not have the capacity to -- And that was President Obama campaigning in New Hampshire telling you to quit being so dog -- cynical we can fix things we can do great things as a country it's just the fault of our political process.

And this is power play.

I -- -- firewall and hello Internet as we get ready to talk today.

About what could happen on Thursday.

When the health care law the decision of the president's health care law as he ended down.

Where we -- going to talk about the immigration squeeze play that's going on right now for Mitt Romney.

And we're going to talk about whether Eric Holder can talk his way out a looming vote to censure him for withholding documents from congress.

As it relates to a botched gun running strength so it is very good news indeed and that Susan appreciate it was with us because she is.

The chief congressional correspondent for the Washington examiner a chance to be -- gosh darn Smart person when it comes to politics are welcome -- to.

To -- here OK good now you know who else knows stuff.

Please welcome back to the show congressman -- get angry from the great state of Georgia.

And he joins us from the fox news bureau in Atlanta.

Congressman welcome back.

Thank you Chris going to be with.

Okay so the president says we can do big things we have the capacity to solve big problems.

Even though the people are being fashionably cynical right now.

But.

Gosh -- the Supreme Court.

Blows blows a hole under the water line of the president's health care law takes out.

The provision that forces people to purchase private insurance -- they're not enrolled in a government plan.

There's a -- trillion dollar hole in this thing that sounds like to be pretty tough problem to fix.

Chris it be a tremendously hard problem to fix -- the president makes that comment right here from the -- Atlanta Georgia.

Yeah there's no limit to what we as individuals can do and our capacity Obama from.

Produce you have -- but and William we have to deal with the federal government with the EPA with that heavy hand of the bureaucracy.

And -- of course I can make most any business model -- if I can avoid.

-- ignore existing law.

-- do -- unconstitutional like the federal government did you make that finds he's getting more.

What now a lot of the work that you do in congress with the congressional doctors caucus is talking about what you do.

What what you would do in the case that -- -- either -- repeals in full.

Or in horror the president's law.

Sketch out for us what you and your fellow Republicans your fellow physicians in the congress are talking about.

Well Chris that's right there there's three options obviously can leave the law -- let it all remain intact.

They can repeal it strike down the whole pranks like that there's no server building clause and and and or -- Strike down the entire -- just the individual mandate.

Obviously if they believe the law intact.

We're gonna continue to fight to do everything we can.

To block funding to.

-- individual pieces of legislation.

All like repeal of the 2.3 percent tax all durable medical equipment they the people who make a heart valves on the -- joint replacements and played like that you would literally put them out of business.

Thought to eliminate I have that bureaucracy we know all about that.

In -- obviously if though the supremes strike down the law then we all agreed that the cost of health insurance.

Thought is too -- -- -- medium of America's.

It's not 47 million about a -- may be closer to thirteen million.

But we Republicans Chris will come forward with legislation.

There will be enacted in the light of day.

-- -- so the public couldn't see exactly what we're doing it what -- -- 700 pages he'll be a series of bills to make sure that we truly do.

Bring down the cost of health insurance.

-- ratio for the Washington examiner has questioned.

Congressman.

-- ask you given the fact that Republicans are really focused on repealing.

The lot we know that -- me an idea of just how soon you think the Republican conference would be able to come up with a real legislation.

Even if it's -- mail in terms of moving forward new health -- lives that people would like Kenny how long do you think that's gonna take we talking.

Next congress this congress when you think you guys -- be able to act on an actual bill that would not to speak to repeal.

Health care but to move forward with a new plan.

Forces and it's a very good question of course I think the most likely scenario.

Fourth Thursday is will hear the supremes.

Are going to leave all the law intact except for the mandate individual mandate dog it is unconstitutional -- violates.

Article one section eight calls three and and I think it's is clear in fact I wouldn't be surprised that decision wasn't a 72 decision.

-- any regard of course you know what Susan is wanting to know is what will do and when we will do it.

As far as Republican majority in the House of Representatives.

We -- -- moved to repeal.

Ought to eliminate the rest of this onerous legislation Susan.

We'll do do that AS AP.

I think we'll have a -- they'll vote.

All my house floor before.

All the elections now -- we know what Harry Reid Broder in the senate and if god if some miracle occurred in the senate went along with the for repeal that we know what pres Obama would do he would veto it.

First but wouldn't it be best for you guys to come up with something.

To tell the American public that you have for a solution is well and anti.

Everywhere and what about that congressman and this is this is an issue that relates to Mitt Romney to.

And -- thing it should Romney do so far.

The governor has come out and talked about.

State based solutions he's talked about.

As you say maybe you have to do it piecemeal but should he roll out in a more -- a comprehensive package that he presents to the American people.

As it relates to health.

Well in regard -- -- -- Chris and Susan in regard to this idea of a comprehensive package.

I and the American people are very leery.

All of a comprehensive package this enacted behind closed doors they didn't want that -- administration democratic majority.

To do this so -- mean -- they were against it two years ago.

And they're against it today I don't think they have any stomach for Republicans within a week or two -- time certain.

After this partial repeal that just come -- -- another point 700 page -- particular one is done behind closed doors where.

We cut deals with AARP like the Democrats did and it even -- fourteen to one senior us.

But 37 million album members -- AARP telling that organization we don't want this bill we don't want Medicare to be guided to create a whole new entitlement program yet AARP.

Cuts a deal in agrees to lobby on behalf of the bill and to support the bill.

Guys know.

Ask you about that you and -- governor given AARP.

Some trouble you guys are raising some questions about the deals that were done.

This stems from some emails that got released as part of a house investigation.

That related to do the bargaining and this and also included the drug industry this included the insurance industry that the White House did.

To cut the final deal on the help button brings up to speed on that.

Well Chris is no question about -- energy and commerce committee of which I'm a member.

And in particular -- oversight investigations subcommittee.

Had I -- just like Google we did in the salinity Brooke.

All situations just like -- -- that has done in regard to fast and furious.

But -- the white house of course is stonewalling but we did get another thought.

-- email all records to put.

Dog -- connect some dots dog and surf and certainly the White House met behind closed doors with different organizations cut deals right and -- ought to get support for this bill when they knew darn well the American people would be opposed to it and AARP.

Was one of those organizations.

And you know that sad part about it is.

-- battlegrounds like she represents 37 million C news in this country.

Indeed -- -- member have been a member of AARP.

Because look I'm I'm older age fifty -- celebrated a number of anniversaries let birthday.

But you know I want them advocated on my behalf I don't want them -- taken 575.

Million dollars.

-- billion dollars excuse me where the beat out of the Medicare program.

Gutting Medicare Advantage.

So that maybe they can sell more supplemental policies all -- which they get royalties so when you connect those -- prison Susan.

Everything is not right in river city.

And I commend my colleagues.

That we're gonna we're gonna stay on top of this.

Congressman we thank you so much for making time for us and I should tell you by the way Chad loves what you're talking about here today says any list.

I like the approach the congressman is putting forth this series of bills is what I've promoted since held discussions started to do that these mail it's got some fans out there congressman hope we'll see you back up here in Washington says.

Chris thank you so much greater going to show.

Okay all right Susan one thing that we should remember is that you can be followed at Susan -- -- That's possible you can just go to Twitter and do that but also you could follow me.

You can follow me actually several -- Twitter and then you could -- eat what I write for you every day -- -- determined that all of you get a chance to see this because I love doing it so much.
