-- fighting increases inside Syria the regime is now also facing.

Another dynamic retaliation.

From its neighbor Turkey potentially we'll -- Turkish officials.

Our outrage after Syrian forces shot down in military jet late last week talks are now under way.

And where this conflict goes next.

And whether or not the United States will have to get involved here especially Turkey and Syria really.

Go out at lieutenant colonel Oliver North is a host of war stories and as a Fox News military analysts have -- -- this is start with the basics.

Right serious shot down a Turkish jet is that an active.

War the airplane is an RF four US built -- two person Vietnam era reconnaissance aircraft was shot down over the Mediterranean.

In international waters last Friday.

The Russians by the way.

Probably supplied the heat seeking missile that was -- even though the Syrians are saying it was shot down by machine gunfire.

Physically impossible given where the airplane went down.

Russia by the way said today -- that this is not a provocation.

And warned the west against further action against the Syrians.

-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- It's -- -- to -- someone to do something else that is and we what was behind shooting that jet down.

Well because all along the Syrian Turkish border which is where the aircraft came over the border.

They -- laying mines is Syrian army is laying mines provided -- by the Russians in by the Iranians along that border.

And so they're trying to keep track of where the minds are being put in the RF four was flying over the border.

Went out over the Mediterranean engaged probably by a surface to air missile -- fourteen of the like.

Provided by the Russians and so the Russians are desperate to hang on to what they've got left in Damascus they've got to otherwise they lose.

They're there of military naval base -- to at targets.

The Islamist government in in Turkey are Dejuan has a very tough job he's got 35000 Syrian refugees.

He's already fired at least as scores of their generals general -- -- that chief of staff for the Turkish military is in jail.

Along with those other officers who were the secularist.

And he's now locking up secular newspaper editors and and broadcasters in the -- So yes where this is going NATO is not gonna act without US leadership.

Obama is as he has been all along a wall -- leadership.

And the Turks aren't gonna act because they don't want to start a larger war and it's already a civil war in Syria.

So let's talk a little bit about the United States.

And and what our role potentially will be and Syria are right now it doesn't look like we have a lot we've reported a little bit on the intelligence gathering part of it secretary of state Hillary Clinton on the news of his jet being shot down said the United States condemns.

This brazen.

And unacceptable act in the strongest.

Possible terms we keep on hearing these statements when you think it changes when you think it changes in to something else.

It's not gonna change it before the election here in this country for sure because we're gonna continued condemned in the strongest possible terms.

Every one of these things that Syria is doing without for the -- force.

From Iran the Islamic revolutionary guard corps.

And they're gonna continue to condemn in the strongest possible terms and do absolutely nothing to stop this what's the other chant we had a chance OK a few months ago to work -- -- -- -- And what -- Because they're the two countries that stand to lose the most if things go upside down in Syria -- already well underway and we didn't do we needed to do starting all the way back.

Right months after this began fifteen months ago.

So we're talking about distant land in a distant part of the world what is the effect ultimately think on our national security.

Because of the inaction you say that -- were participating and sure for the last all month.

Ultimately Russia's playing a very clever hand and all of this wooten knows the price of oil being at 75 dollars a barrel is not doing a thing for his country.

If you can create enough instability in that part of the world the price of oil goes way up.

And helps -- a whole lot of that that's what's really happening out there and the Russians and in this in this area here and that a rainy and hand in Syria is very evident.

So post election.

Then why post post election I think that you're gonna look at what the Israelis are gonna do with the -- nuclear threat.

And say that the world is gonna change dramatically somewhere between the sixth of November the United States in the 21.

With the -- the new inaugural.

Why you believe that.

Well I think that there window was closing I mean -- they're going to have to act.

In the United States is not going to do to help them certainly before the election and even if you haven't transition.

Administration they're not gonna act and so the Israelis are gonna have to act alone.

Both the Israelis -- all when it comes to Syria or Syria really a -- -- right -- on and I think it's hard committees that -- because we do know that women are dying children dying men are dying.

We about the lack of really understanding about what's happening on the ground but we do know massacre is taking place so it.

I massacres are taking place regular agenda and the Israeli ability to influence events in Syria -- long since passed then I mean -- the likelihood is you're gonna end up with a very radical government in Syria.

Just like you've now got in Tunisia.

Libya and soon to come in Egypt do you think -- -- on our hands.

Because of what went on -- -- -- only if -- -- -- blood on your hands if you do something the administration's done nothing.

In all of this the so called responsibility to protect which made was Obama's foreign policy.

Beginning with the so called Arab Spring has utterly totally failed in protecting the lives of innocent civilians it's a bloody mess created in large part.

Because of lack of American leadership.

-- north and changing world changing every moment especially in this part of the world in the Middle East -- you're just concentrating on we look for to have -- back is always.

Thank you so -- should.
