Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Maria Molina from the fox extreme weather center with your forecast for the southern plains as well as the southwest and -- is going to be another hot day out across Texas we continue to bake out here.

With high temperatures into the triple digits Amarillo 105.

A 105 as will be your high temperature this afternoon in Midland.

Dallas expecting a high temperature at a 103 and these are just actual temperatures when you factor in the humidity it feels even hotter as -- -- out the -- -- heat index values could be as much as five.

To ten degrees above what the actual temperature is so make sure to stay safe out there.

And just try to stay indoors go as seen eat in a -- as you really should be hanging out too long.

Outdoors with that kind of heat in place when a -- will be a high temperature in Vegas a 111 in the city of Phoenix and 104 over in Tucson so also looking at very high temperatures across -- desert southwest.

Denver though -- finally out of a triple digits 95 will be a high temperature this afternoon's us still relatively pretty hot day out for you guys.

Los Angeles beautiful 78 for your high temperature.

A lot of sunshine so again no complaints out across the coast of California at four corners you could see a spotty shower here -- their -- -- -- higher elevations.
