Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Maria Molina from the fox extreme weather center with your forecast for the northeast.

And today we're seeing a bit of a warm up across our region we have actually -- that's taking place across the center of -- country and that area of high pressure.

It's slowly creeping east where pushing in that warmer air.

As it does so also worries -- seasonally impacts from that like in DC -- today you're gonna see a high at ninety degrees.

86 in Philadelphia and we're back up into the -- afternoon in the city of New York 81 degrees expected to be your high temperature and -- seven -- Over Boston still a bit on the cool side in northern new England and that's -- we have an area of low pressure still spinning in sunlight moisture.

In from areas of Canada and also the -- -- -- light showers throughout today and some cloud cover grab the umbrella.

I gonna need it throughout the day today as you're gonna get some hitter -- showers here and there but the rest of the northeast looking good dry weather for Pennsylvania.

New York City Washington DC and even down into areas like Philadelphia and also the state of Virginia so looking pretty good out there.

As far as looking at any weather related delays in those big airport hubs from New York City down into Philly as we head into Thursday that area of low pressure will continue to slowly drift further off toward the north.

See you're still gonna have a chance to see a spotty shower here -- there across the state of Maine otherwise rests in the northeast seeing dry once again -- those temperatures continue to warm up.

And by Friday morning -- shower once again possible in northern Maine rest of the northeast -- with temperatures even warmer by then we could be seen widespread ninety's.

In places like New York City -- even further off towards the north across parts of upstate New York.

Have a great -- everyone I'm meteorologist Mario Molina from the fox extreme weather senator.
