It's about eighteen months and in that eighteen months it was ten months in which we were flat out lied to senator Grassley was like two in a letter and we were also given live testimony that was false.

And it took about ten months before they finally owned up to it being exactly the opposite of what they said.

That was California congressman Darrell ice who's the head of the -- oversight committee on the record with Greta Van Susteren.

And he was mad as heck and he was not gonna take it any more from Eric Holder and this is power play where we are awaiting tomorrow.

Aside from just that big old decision on health care also a vote in the house and whether or not -- Eric Holder in contempt.

Let's talk about that we will be talking later to your -- Ford O'Connell.

He is -- of reform act.

He's a member of the red team is a friend of this Internet telecast welcome.

Thank you okay now let me introduce you to a new friend Internet congressman Larry -- -- flu shot.

From the great state of Indiana welcome to the big show congressman.

Thanks for -- on.

Okay so what you'll see about that the the question yes.

And that the folks out there watching they know all of big x.s and -- they know how this goes.

What Davis -- give us the behind the scenes look.

As we get ready to go -- to a vote on contemporary -- were starting to see some Democrats.

Fall into the yes column moderate to conservative Democrats from red states are starting to line up -- the Republican team and contempt.

When this -- goes off tomorrow what do we expect to sit.

Well I think we will vote -- holder holder and in contempt which you have to look at is the family of the border agent that was killed.

And over 200 Mexican citizens that were killed.

Based on this program.

That the Justice Department may or may not have been aware of at a high level.

-- we're asking for is the facts so that we can let the family the dead agent know.

What happened and also the Mexican citizens in the Mexican government know what happened to their citizens and I think that's not too much -- -- And that's agent Brian Terry that we're talking about there and his parents have been theory.

Theory rough on the administration they say that they are compounding the tragedy because they won't do that.

But from a practical point of view congressman let's say that the that there are the votes to 200 mean.

Eighteen or 217 votes necessary and has to make that happen.

What's the practical consideration.

Well I think we're also going to vote on a civil case and senate to civil court.

Based on the fact that the president has because -- declared executive privilege.

And we wanna see the documents -- -- again.

Mr.

Terry's family.

-- needs answers they deserve the truth in their government needs to provide the answers.

If listen if there's anything in these documents that exonerate the Justice Department.

That will be great.

No one wants to be in this position that.

Congressman -- and his committee.

Don't want to be in this position they want the facts and I think it's unfortunate that we we what are where we are.

Congressman.

Changing topics quickly.

We have that pending legislation.

Is tied up in the house on a couple of things.

One is the extension of -- subsidize lower student loan rate.

For new students.

New college students and the other one is a big old transportation bill.

Yeah we're sun setting on these at the end of the week what's what's the -- up there what what's gonna happen.

First of all like to point out that the house passed the bill weeks ago to deal with the student loan rate.

And on the senate side the senate Democrats just don't agree with -- the pay for.

Pay for was a slush fund and obamacare which even the president has used in his budget as a pay -- to cover other things.

So house Republicans have acted on the student loan situation weeks ago now my understanding is that the senate and the house.

Have come to some agreement and I think we'll have that issue resolved by the end of this week.

It'll probably be attached to a long term highway bill not an extension but an actual bill.

And right now I'm optimistic -- will also a finish that up.

OK congressman we thank you for her upbringing is -- to -- we hope you have a great -- good luck over there well thank you thanks again for having -- on -- ship it -- you -- -- -- So from hey.

If the Republicans you heard there and -- not heard anybody say that before that they're gonna do a lawsuit they're gonna vote to shoot -- house will vote to sue.

The president over this executive privilege that he is exerted over the documents some of the documents in question.

What's the political play.

I think you could possibly go too far that's the point right now is to hold President Obama and the DOJ accountable and to bring closure for.

The -- family the Mexicans who died in even -- upon us.

His well and I think you can go too far would that -- and essentially what we need to do is when you get back to jobs.

And the economy but it didn't get the current rate though.

One of the big things is to make sure that.

Everybody knows -- President Obama has been -- is that the deal effectively managing government and about being accountable this is really a way to hide things in nixonian way to do it.

And we need to make sure that everybody knows that.

There's that word there is that nixonian word that keeps flying around Washington this week.

And your predictions -- you think they'll have the votes to to do it -- older and I absolutely and I think they may get.

-- between Democrats well.

Well what's the NRA -- what's the NRA said there will be watching a lot of those red state Democrat that's that's exactly right and I in a lot of red state Democrats know you know sort of that they can't mess we are in certain states they do love them some guns and also some money from the NRA okay.
