Hello there I'm meteorologist Janice Dean having a look at -- temperatures across the southwest and of course.

Our hearts and prayers go out to all of those who are dealing with -- wild fires especially across Colorado.

Where temperatures are going to remain.

Hot it's going to be dry and unfortunately could -- some dry thunderstorms which means.

All of that moisture could just evaporate and were left with gusty winds and possibly some lightning which could spark war wildfire danger.

And could spread the wildfires so look at your highs today really warm again for parts of Phoenix -- Albuquerque 100 in Grand Junction nine.

In Denver and -- fortunately this is gonna be a story for not only today but Friday -- into the weekend.

Other.

It'll only a warm across the southern plains of temperature is I mean look at that 103 in Dallas 101 insuring 41 of four.

In little rock and the worst part of it is we're going to be dealing with humidity so temperatures are gonna feel.

Anywhere from a 105210.

To even a 115.

Degrees.

Across this region so please please be extra careful we have heat advisories up.

For almost two dozen states and this is going to be -- dangerous heat wave and just make sure you're taking all your precautions.

-- satellite radar of the last six hours not much to show you a little bit of -- or storm activity across Colorado.

Again they're getting a little tiny bit of moisture but really.

The gusty winds and dry lightning is not going to help matters there's your future radar again we could see some scattered storms across this area but nothing to really help.

The drought.

Unfortunately as we head into the weekend make it a great day.
