Well the decades long hunt for the so called god particle may soon be over.

Tomorrow's scientists working at the world's biggest atom smasher are expected to reveal new evidence of the particle which they've said might answer fundamental questions.

About the creation and existence of the universe among other things they say they believe this so called higgs boast on particle.

Is key to explaining what gives mass to our bodies and to the world in general physicist Biggio got good joins us -- those -- the significance of this is newest book.

Physics of the future is a New York Times best seller I I guess the question a lot of the stuff is confusing for a lot of us Biggio is.

Is do they actually find -- god particle are they just certain that it exists.

Well there -- feverish speculation about that point ten billion dollars have been spent the findings because -- The latest rumors are that they found some things they found a spike in the data but they're not quite sure that -- the higgs -- time.

Now remember that if it's not -- about time we physicists are gonna have a heart attack.

The foundations of modern that this won't crumble if we don't -- that aren't Barnicle.

And give us an idea explaining he -- and simplistic terms and exactly how they went about finding this and we're at a mismatch issues and young galaxies exploding it give us the simple terms and how they found this thing.

At cern we have a machine that is 27.

Miles -- a conference.

And we have two beams of protons going in opposite directions and when they slammed together.

They released energy isn't up to fourteen trillion electron -- energy is not seen since the instant of the Big Bang.

That's what they call -- -- god particle.

God said let there be light and said the university commotion.

But we physicists believe that there was a spark a spark that set up the big bang and that could be in some sense -- -- sparkle.

Yeah and once I just got to compare this to to really finding the fossil of a dinosaur imprint so you really didn't find the -- dinosaur but you found the imprint.

Of the dinosaur which is every bit as exciting.

That's right in this could -- one of the greatest mysteries what set off the Big Bang.

The Big Bang in some -- -- misnomer because they didn't say why did bang they didn't say how would bang.

The higgs Bose on could explain it because it might have been best part.

That set off the fuse that caused the explosion thirteen point seven billion years ago.

And tell me why I care so much if we find this -- and how does it affect me what's the what's the key thing that I take away from this.

It will perhaps explain our place in -- universe.

Why do we have this glorious universal -- -- the one of the greatest cosmic mysteries of all time.

And if we find bigs both sun and particles like that we'll understand how we came to be the orange and not just of the the origin -- everything.

Stems on this experiment.

It is the big question make you -- and thank you sir thank you.
