Well -- the government is going to make Americans buy health insurance congress van Allen west says well we can go and buy something else.
Security and everything nervous well.
-- -- Okay.
Okay.
Well he got that crowd walk then and -- middle laughed and he got the blogs -- -- not stop reporting.
We thought we get the Florida -- -- To talk about an issue he says is no laughing matter the -- congress some of us now -- -- as a wonderful and happy Independence Day to you -- into your entire crew of family.
To you was well -- on you knew you would get the response you did certainly inside that room and the negative reaction you got outside that room.
From a lot of your critics tonight I always think you're pretty shrewd guy you you don't do these things on a -- -- You expected what you got a.
Capsule was so you're not spent twenty years in -- on -- -- military is so I'm pretty strategic level thinker.
But what we have to understand on this day were celebrated -- -- -- 36 years.
Of this great United States of America.
Remember this -- was founded on the the ideal of individual sovereignty understand -- that the individual rights of life liberty pursuit of happiness.
Do not come from -- -- don't come from government they come from Cragg our creator.
And so when I look at this decision that was made last week.
Coming from the Supreme Court.
We have an incredible precedent is now be established which gives an unlimited taxing authority a potential.
To the federal government to congress and we can really use taxation is a -- of behavior modification.
And so that's a very dangerous thing to have in the hands of the federal government and I think that our friends on the liberal side.
You know -- they don't want to see us mandate that Americans have a certain type of handgun.
They shouldn't try to mandated Americans have a certain type of commodity from a private sector.
Just because they have an ideological agendas floors quote unquote health insurance reform.
But I haven't.
Do you departed your provocative nature congressman is to rattle some cages -- then.
If it's done in a way that your critics say -- over the top that I think it was a couple of days ago when you mention about the president and and his big government approach to things that he would rather you be as slaves.
You know you'll get that you know raised eyebrow -- not shocked and off reaction.
You don't seem to -- all right.
No no I cannot care because when I look at the situation which I find my country.
A country that as I said I was willing to lay down my life for same -- -- -- the World War II my brother Vietnam and my nephew now service.
We take very seriously oath that we took to this country and I'm not going to shy away from Santa face -- need to be saying it.
When you look at the fact that on that this president's quote unquote leadership.
We have had a 46.
Percent increase in food stamp recipients in the united -- -- -- week -- from 32 million.
24647.
Million we even have a government.
That is using taxpayer money to run radio ads to promote people getting going on -- food stamps we have almost seven million more Americans on poverty.
We up close -- not a million Americans now out there also security disability.
What we find happening is that we are creating an entitlement welfare state where we are starting to get more people waited to the government by -- check.
Or by employment -- and we in turn are finding that the regulatory environment that is out there is crushing.
Our small business growth which is to economic engine of this country.
So you know I have to say it as -- -- we do not want to see.
Economic dependency or economic slavery become.
But the policies of this president this administration.
Does not -- that so.
But you've been critical even of Mitt Romney's of them grew cautious approach or more to that point.
His aides approach and and and critical of the fact that.
Mr.
Romney doesn't rain and in a correct and he did today.
On this whole issue of the health care -- it made me and what I'm saying is let's not want to listen -- there's.
He made these remarks -- -- governor Romney just today on health care issue.
The majority of the court said its attacks and therefore it is attacks they have spoken there's no way around that.
But as you know donated said that it wasn't attacks and so we go back and forth and -- -- but the Democratic National Committee seized on that his sense that it that's the case.
Our governor Romney what you did in Massachusetts was in his attacks.
What do you think of that.
Well I think first and foremost when the Obama administrators.
Administration's solicitor general.
Are -- before the Supreme Court.
That -- -- attacks and the -- Supreme Court and she's Justice Roberts comes back the rules that the individual mandate is constitutional as we see it as attacks.
Within that should be in the end of the discuss.
I think the governor Romney -- -- talk about the fact of what he tried to do in the state of Massachusetts.
Was him saying what could be best for his state but maybe it did not work out as well and he should.
Feel very bad that the president thought that he could take.
That is a model and try to implement that for the entire you -- -- -- is not doing that is obviously he's still standing by what I -- -- messages.
And I think that that's one of the things that probably should happen.
Because the president is going to continue to try to say that this was the paradigm.
That I used to implement the -- -- protection and affordable care.
And I think that the governing -- to come back and reassess really what was his decision making criteria for implementing his health care in Massachusetts.
Congress and and always a pleasure -- a great fourth.
Absolutely you -- and we have to stand on principle in the United States of America regardless of the criticism you received -- congressman good having you do well in the meantime.
