Hi there I'm meteorologist Janice Dean taking a look at your temperatures across the northwest one of the coolest spots across the map.

Most of us are baking in 100 degree heat but look at Seattle 74 for you beautiful temperatures 74 and Jackson.

Taking a look at the upper midwest around the Great Lakes Ohio valley -- -- still oppressive.

Temperatures soaring -- 103 Chicago -- -- three and -- 106 in Saint Louis.

With the humidity it's going to feel even worse than that this is the ten days straight.

In Saint Louis that you've had above 100 degree heat so really really dangerous be really careful stay indoors watch the little ones check on the elderly check on your neighbors.

And just keep yourself hydrated.

Severe threat today we have -- risk for hail damaging winds and even isolated tornadoes across the northern plains and midwest and Great Lakes region.

Taking a look at your satellite radar.

Again the potential for severe weather showers thunderstorms and some of those could reach severe limits will keep an eye -- that.

Taking a look at your future -- that's -- to continue into Friday upper midwest around the Great Lakes kind of unsettled.

Look at all that moisture working its way -- the four corners region that is great news for them.
