Which is a very good point so what the -- travel norms with all this technology.

That surrounds us our iphones our blackberries.

-- -- Let's talk from -- San Francisco bureau to Mike -- who is an Intel ambassador.

Some new system supposed to make it all makes sense for us.

Mike is this is this -- really showing no it is committee as it -- a growing number of people just.

How -- one plug.

He Jonathan Heidi what we've found was that there's actually a stark contrast between the way that people used to travel.

And the way they travel today.

And we do you find that people have a harder time unplugging.

And there were some interesting things that we found as part is this survey to as to the reasons why and those are the things that -- talk about tonight.

-- I'll go ahead I mean what one of the things he would go I was looking at selling your stats Mike one of the things to a -- who replaced you of that to me.

Was 188 travelers Rangel losing their mobile computing device significantly more stressful -- -- in -- wedding ring.

That's right absolutely we did find -- -- that's a very interesting thing we found there the second to losing your wallet.

Losing your laptop your -- book was the most stressful thing though that travelers face today.

And part of it is probably because more and more people carry more of their personal information on their technology devices.

I your photos your videos in your music and so losing all of that is that is -- really stressful thing that we find.

So you'll what are the other one of the other particular statistics and you surveyed at that jumped out -- you.

Well we found that people are very concerned about their security so one of it that the terms that we coin is the -- tax phenomenon which is.

This fear of people looking over your shoulder as your typing your your passwords at -- and again of losing your devices.

And that's where Intel -- you know what we've done is we've done a lot of work in terms of security we we did the acquisition of McAfee.

And we're pulling him a lot of security functionalities into our -- two books to have people have more of a sense of peace when they are traveling.

That you get that sense of peace so how do you make yourself.

Relax about it.

Well I think you can take some.

Obviously you can take some precautions.

You should be always aware of the Wi-Fi networks that -- connecting to.

You should always have some strong passwords when you're accessing your computer.

And then there are certain things like Intel anti theft technology for example this is a a service that allows you to be able to locate your device if it's ever lost.

And to be able to shut it down or be able to completely wipe it clean so.

Those are some peace of mind things that some technologies that were.

Building into our our ultra books that will help people have a sense of peace when they are traveling with their.

Very valuable device.

Right and and I think there was some of -- talking of traveling there is a lot of interesting thing -- I thought.

A new survey on the on the people's behavior in flights you know went via the man as people being annoy -- by fellow travelers on their devices what people really switch off when they're told it.

Right I think it speaks to this high expectation that people have with their devices they they feel more connected than ever.

They have so we have social networks we have all of these different services and all of these -- from it all all the information that's available on people feel empowered by that and so when they are forced to shut off their devices or when they're limited by.

Short battery lives and things like that they get.

Frustrated and there's this anxiety when you're not connected because every connected minute is so valuable.

-- and 70% of adults say they feel anxious when that unable to challenge that -- -- -- -- sort of device they have with them when they're traveling that's a huge Vegas.

Absolutely and and this is.

This has led to the the term that -- Corning which is outlet outraged if it's this notion of people wandering through airports going from cafe to cafe finding that elusive power -- Or we've also find -- found that people will actually resort to flirting with others to try to convince them to give up their power outlet.

It's always a good idea to resort to floating there's never anything bad and Mike Bob thank you very much -- Mike is an Intel -- -- great to have you with us from -- San Francisco today thanks Mike.

Thank you Jennifer all right go to the question of the day on so that most of you and by the looks of things.
