And leading -- -- the heat wave that's gripping much of the country chief meteorologist Rick frightening -- is here tracking the temperature is he is live in the extreme weather senator Rick.

And again is hot take a look at this map you can see.

Exactly where the heat is all these -- here in 98 degrees in Kansas City already 95 in Cleveland the problem is -- -- not just hot.

It's humid -- you factor in that humidity.

And this is what it feels like -- like 110 in Cleveland.

106 already in Louisville were not even have up until the noontime here so.

We're talking about some very warm temperatures already because of that all kinds of heat advisories have been posted from areas of the -- a Great Lakes and Ohio River valley.

Stretching out -- towards parts of the middle kind of Atlantic states -- attempts -- field in excess of around 115 today.

And he's just one of those days that you need to stay in the -- some changes in store and it's a part of the system it's going to be pulling on through.

And it's gonna drop -- attempts but as it does happen it's -- troubles -- down through here today.

Gonna bring a big wind and hail threat with some of the thunderstorms that pop up here today areas from around Hartford Connecticut.

Stretch back towards parts of Ohio that -- in northern areas of Ohio.

By tomorrow this -- a little farther towards itself.

In towards Washington DC -- back towards Louisville may be Paducah Evansville Indiana that area under the threat for some of the severe weather we're not take about tornadoes.

We're talking about big win and we've seen from the damage it can happen but some of these thunderstorms of win over the last couple weeks.

We're going to see that the good news is behind this front.
