Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Mario Molina from the fox extreme weather center with your forecast for the southeast and today will be another scorcher across portions of the -- -- And also processing of Georgia with temperatures still above average.

Like in Savannah Wilmington and Charlotte where you're expecting a high temperature at 97 degrees in all of those cities.

And of course when you add in the humidity it feels even hotter will likely be seeing some heat index -- across that region.

Into the triple digits in majors Stacy everyone there's a number of heat advisories out there.

In -- as well for today.

Otherwise as we head into parts of Florida and 91 will be -- -- Miami 91 -- -- -- as well.

As we head westward New Orleans looking pretty good 85 degrees -- -- high temperature with a few isolated showers and thunderstorms possible out there.

Along parts of the Gulf Coast.

Heading northbound finally seeing a bit of a relief from those very hot temperatures -- been enduring in Saint Louis and Louisville basically over the last several days even over a week for some of you guys across portions of the midwest does -- a little bit cooler 92 for your high -- -- 89 for your high temperature -- -- -- and you continue to see some of those -- high temperatures taking a little bit of a tumble as we -- the next 24 hours.

But it is -- so they aren't really going to be that much cooler just into parts across the midwest will be -- some of those highs into basically the eighties.

And also low nineties for some of you.

Otherwise a frontal system is pushing -- parts of the northeast and also across parts.

Other mid south and that's really -- seeing a bit of a cool down from those hot temperatures.

And also some scattered showers and thunderstorms some of those are heavy at times across -- DC Baltimore area.

Right now pretty quiet across the Carolinas and also -- and sort out but expect some of those showers and storms to fire up.

As we head into the afternoon and evening evening hours of course once we get that daytime heating and take a look at 9 AM Tuesday we're actually gonna have a lot of widespread areas of rain.

Across parts of Georgia Carolinas.

Also -- had a westward across parts of Louisiana Mississippi and Arkansas and -- this song right here ports actually even coming down pretty heavily at times for tomorrow morning so it will be us locals for you.

Tuesday morning as you have to work.

And then as we head into 9 AM Wednesday are lingering frontal boundary still to -- producing rain from Louisiana and Mississippi.

Do parts of Tennessee into the Carolinas once again so for a long period of time that will be seeing some rain thought here's some people could actually seen.

Two to three inches of rain locally up to four inches so grab the -- -- you're gonna need it here.
