Right let's bring in Justin duck -- now from told radio news service to break down some of the media coverage we -- Back end of last week on wall wasn't by most I can some pretty.
Dismal jobs report for the president I just didn't but it and from the way you -- it didn't really wasn't really played like that in much of the media.
I'll -- it was the big story but it wasn't treated with the sort of attention that it really deserves you know we're about a 141 days away from the election and this is the number one issue to most Americans and this was something that.
We're already sort of forgetting about today as news cycle moves on the tax fairness so and.
What what -- what would you like to see.
From.
Would do what enjoying seeing more -- -- in the coverage Justin what what's your basic complaint here.
One of my biggest ones that it.
Sort of missed the element of finality to this.
I didn't just say that the economy lost in but outside of the economy only gained about 80000 jobs but it also said that the unemployment rate was not gonna do it under 8% before the election and that's a pretty big deal you know we had Hamilton place strategies which is -- firm here in DC.
Say that in order for that to happen we need to see sort of a miracle.
We need to see about 200 2000.
Jobs per month added to the economy in order to really get it down to 8% even -- it's only going to be.
-- -- And that is something that really -- a lot of hopes and really shows that there's nothing really be president can do in the final months -- that is a very big deal.
And -- and you think that that that wasn't -- enough that sort of analysis isn't very a lot of the media coverage of these sorts of issues.
-- I really don't think it is I don't think there was an element of you know.
Acceptance among that fact I think we still saw a lot of talk about a possible economic miracle.
And at the end of the day I think that we have a lot of people who are willing to really jump on the next big thing even though the economy if you look at any poll is the number one issue.
-- the next big thing everybody's jumping on including the president right now is the issue of tax cuts.
-- What's your prediction -- for the from page of the papers tomorrow and how they'll let -- that's.
Wolf I think this is.
You know good politics for Obama I think this is the equivalent of grabbing your buddies from college and getting in the car going to Vegas and trying to relive your glory days.
Because if you remember the last time this was an issue it was very good for the president he had a 5% boost in the polls and according to CNN or C.
We saw about 40% of Americans willing to blame Republicans.
During the last debacle over the payroll tax cut.
Over about 20% who said Democrats and I think the president is trying to recapture that although I think he's doing a pretty transparent way so.
I think we're gonna have people recognize on the front page that this is a political move.
But nevertheless one that -- needs to be discussed.
All right okay Justin Doctor Who told radio news service thank you very much indeed -- always.
