Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Mario -- -- from the fox extreme weather center with your forecast for.

The northwest and also the midwest and the big story last week was our heat wave across.

The midwest always hot temperatures into the triple digits and now the big story as a heat wave across.

Parts of the northwest -- into the desert southwest we're going to be seeing some of those triple digit temperatures.

That we saw last week in the midwest -- -- Billings Montana out 100 degrees for your high temperature this afternoon.

-- over in Boise and over in Salt Lake City are expecting a high temperature today at a 103 degrees has seen some of that extreme heat across.

Interior portions of the northwest but as he had -- Or actually -- Seattle and Portland very pleasant today eighty -- should be a -- Portland and 77 over in the city of Seattle.

As we head into the midwest we're seeing continuing to see that relief from the UA that we had to endure for several days.

Likened to going today's going to be a very pleasant day 88 for high temperature 87 over in Minneapolis.

And across a Great Lakes beautiful 85 will be behind Detroit and 84 in the city of Chicago in any had a lot of sunshine as well across parts of the midwest.

We're not really looking that much in the way of rainfall out there most of -- shower or thunderstorm activity you'll see -- off towards -- -- Across parts of the central plains in Nebraska and also parts of Oklahoma.

As a take a look at the northwest some of the Rockies could be seen some isolated showers here and there but.

Generally light stuff that's going to be the story from Montana Wyoming and also parts of Idaho.

Take a look and I am Wednesday -- some scattered activity out across northern Rockies.

But Seattle and Portland staying dry with.

Some sunshine in your forecast and the midwest also relatively quiet.

By Thursday morning more of the same some of those isolated sprinkles about -- in the northern Rockies will slowly track eastward and could be impacting parts of the Dakotas.

Nothing widespread -- very tranquil weather pattern in store for -- with both the northwest.

And also the midwest what's a warm temperatures in the midwest and the hot temperatures seeing -- police -- at least tomorrow across northwest.
