QB and here on the East Coast hi everybody in my film double welcome to solution America is so good to see this afternoon.

And this morning depending on where you are a new study released recently from public health researchers.

At the site -- cancer center in Saint -- showed that over.

Half of all cancer.

Is preventable.

That's right doctor -- Francis says he's known for many years that we already have the means available to end this epidemic of chronic disease.

The problem.

Are -- current methods to prevent certain cancers.

And solution change your lifestyle choices doctor France is joining us now from Miami good to see doctor.

Well thank you.

Good to be here and listen I'm fascinated by this I want to start off by asking you -- have you always known that it's about what you eat.

In your lifestyle.

No no because.

Eight years ago when I was 48 years old I -- -- him I almost died so in fact my guests with some medical certainty.

And it wasn't until I took charge of my own health and use my own knowledge of biochemistry to save my life.

And then to restore my health which took a couple of years.

That started me on an -- Odyssey of learning.

And and now teaching others about how to get well and stay well one never be sick again.

And of course -- what I mentioned that cancers impact on the US -- and this year alone in 2012.

While one point six million new cases of cancer will be diagnosed.

577000.

Americans are expected to die of course this coming from the American Cancer Society.

And that's it it's so those numbers are staggering and and we after realized that these are actual people were talking about the doctor Francis let's get into discussion.

In terms of preventive measures here.

How how can we cut down and cancer cases.

You're saying tobacco use exercise activity we're talking about and daily diet talking about the.

So well it's.

Hey here's a problem you know cancer historically.

Was a rare disease is I mean they've started Egyptian -- thanks chuck it all kinds of things camps it was a very rare disease.

Today it's our most feared disease.

Fans it's our most expensive disease and its rapidly becoming our leading cause of death and fact right now the projections are.

That almost half of all Americans will get cancer in their lifetime Imus is gone from a rare disease to an epidemic and it so what's changed yet what's happens here's what's happens.

We've created a cancer causing environments.

We liver cancer causing lifestyle and we -- -- cancer causing diet and other words.

We've fundamentally.

Change the parameters of human existence we fundamentally changed our diet a lifestyle and our environments.

So that's the bad news but here's the good news we know what we've done.

And we know how to compensate for it and so there's no reason to have this epidemic of cancer.

Okay let's talk some specifics here because we -- you mentioned and and how to cut down and against three Sho the full screen airlift let me ask you some specific questions -- -- you brought.

Five tips salon doctor Francis and first when -- read them off them when -- done -- individually -- you say get off sugar.

Do not used processed oils do not use wheat products.

-- primarily plant based diet and include lots of fruits and veggies in your diet so first of all we say get -- sugar what are we talking about.

We're talking about all refined sugars that are in all kinds of foods including catch up.

Refined sugar is actually a is toxic to the body of such a metabolic poison.

If -- were new -- today it could not would not be allowed on the markets because a new product would have to be safe and effective.

And sugar is not safe.

So it's one of our leading causes of disease -- we understand.

What causes cancer a -- we've understood this for a long time.

So we know the mechanics solvent and we know how to prevent the cancer we know how to reverse the cancer.

Sugar or not only causes cancer but it drives cancer cancer cells eat sugar that's all they -- And and so would you -- sugar you're feeding the cancer.

So give me an idea and you mentioned things like -- just give -- quick little laundry list because a lot of times people really understand the difference between a refined sugar or raw sugar.

So give us an idea.

Well.

I'm not talking about sugar that's in an apple or frivolous and talents DL that this you know in this is your eating the whole food.

I'm talking about our refined sugars that we ads too soft drinks that we had to pastries and cakes and and cookies.

Alternative but tasty -- -- that we should just stay away from god -- -- -- candidate your yeah.

-- right candy ice cream all these things contained refined sugar.

And right before I -- move on let me -- get off I mean it get off sugar completely obviously that would be -- best thing to do obviously far I don't deal.

I deal how amber you know there is that whole attitude that everything in moderation.

So I happened to be more its -- that I am sure there and I don't have high blood pressure knock on some -- so I'm okay.

But let's say a YouTube you know you it's cut almost impossible for someone is never possible but it's really going to be a struggle for someone who really just get option seriously absolutely -- -- it's going to be a struggle of a good way to go like frank -- figure someone who.

Drinks sodas may be instead of having -- -- every day maybe we could start by cutting down to one a day coming to one a week or something -- -- united means somehow -- that's -- really.

-- think right well that's that's the whole thing -- you know we everyone has to do what's if I know something's bad -- -- I can I can get off of that in -- seconds and and other people camps.

And so okay just cut back if you cut back instead of having six senators you know you have one guy and enjoy a -- yeah I -- sugar.

You know -- unilaterally Scania a bit left in moderation what last night what -- unit and he in moderation exactly -- last Thanksgiving after after we have this wonderful meal.

Now they brought out an apple pie and pumpkin pie and they said which would you like.

-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Let's move on doctor you say do not eat wheat products again.

Not every being buddy knows what you're talking about -- also bet you that takes -- into the hole gluten.

Aspect of everything to break it down -- -- much more than gluten.

The weeks that we're eating today is not what our ancestors saves.

It's a -- -- two weeks and and they what we've done this week to increase the protein content of the weeks but in doing so we've increased the gluten contents and gluten is very telegenic so about half the population now was allergic to do and and.

What evil so why is that I I everybody seems to have friends now they're on a gluten free diet because they're certainly allergic to it will will wise that's -- do.

I think it.

It's because we have so much about it's it's just tweeted me you know we have high gluten -- and everybody -- -- we'd all day.

-- We eat so much about.

But there's another approaching in the weeks -- -- times and other class approaching collectibles.

And reluctance or even worse than the group.

These are highly inflammatory proteins.

They don't.

They build up on the body.

And indeed at the -- logically if we look at other countries yes.

Countries that each week's primarily rather than -- -- -- -- some of the grain.

Have much more inflammatory disease -- countries that don't.

And and of course inflammation.

Is the foundation stone wall chronic disease so by eating a lot of -- we are causing chronic.

Disease OK IAI when you give me an idea of the wheat products again just a quick laundry list that we can get the picture in our heads.

And that's some com.

-- everything everything you know broke bread cookies you know -- these of them are unknown new roles of bagels.

Yeah you know -- -- in it's every put so again it's it it's really restricting us you're saying here for incidents we got together.
