Okay.

Haider -- -- -- I want to talk this week about the brand new Google nexus seven tablet on sale this month to me quite a few waves of approval developer conference.

I've been testing it here are a few of my thoughts let's take a look.

The tablet is made by Asus exclusively for Google it's 199.

Dollars for the eight gigabyte version.

There's a sixteen gigabyte version for 249.

Dollars and it's being sold exclusively right now.

Through Google's place store.

And it's meant really to be content consumption tablet you can clearly see that Google is trying to get.

Users away from Amazon's Kindle fire tablet.

And the hardware is much nicer than the Kindle fire.

Take a look at the rubberized back which according to Google.

It's supposed to mimic Steve McQueen driving gloves the only hardware buttons are here on the side you've got the power button.

And the volume up and down buttons of course you can plug in via USB on the -- One thing I noticed right away is just how like this is here is -- Google nexus seven tablet and here's an older Kindle touch.

And you can see for -- size but really really light a little under a pound.

Three quarters of a pound and compared to the Kindle fire it's much lighter.

There is a camera on the -- it's one and a half megapixels so it's really just for video chatting it decided to leave a camera off the back because honestly.

Who's taking photos with a tablet anyway.

And the screen is really nice they did a nice job with a 1280 by 800 screen display.

The viewing angles of greats when you turn to -- -- to watch videos you're not gonna notice that much of a problem.

It is a little washed out compared to some of the other nicer screens out there -- the Retina Display but all -- -- a really great screen.

The nexus seven tablet is sporting the latest version of android operating system which is jelly bean and it is a much improved over their previous versions of android.

And I have to say one of the things that sticks out.

Is voice search so you tap on the screen.

Find a pizza place.

One of the things I noticed that was just how fast it is especially typing emails you know.

Might I wanna be sitting here actually pounding out emails with this thing.

So why not use.

Voice dictation instead.

And the type messages it is lightning fast compared with Apple's Siri and noticing instantaneous results.

With Google's new voice search really -- I'm using Google+ right now and I'm testing my voice dictation watch how fast the words are spilling out on the screen next to my face.

It's almost happening in real time this being it is incredible.

Period.

For a 199 dollars this thing is fast and particularly noticed that when you launch videos -- television shows are also why you're playing some games.

Transformers movie dark of the moon which is transformers movie.

He is here loaded on to Google nexus tablet and he knows how quickly loads and how great looks on the -- let's take a look at the application path.

Which in the big fan of on IOS now half is available on android so in a side by side comparison here on the screen.

-- as the graphical animation of tapping the plus sign and -- Notice on the right.

That's -- and on the left notice the difference just a stuttering and staggering.

On the android version passed.

I know this is nitpicking but.

Those are the things I notice most users probably won't care but I.

You can download magazines in the -- store here on the nexus tablet not a big fan of how they look.

On this tablet yet.

And I think there's some work to be done you'll notice some pages that are still rendering as I scroll from side to side you'll notice some black areas that are missing.

As the page filled out the rest of the screen but overall books and texts look great on this screen.

So if you have a 199 dollars burning a hole in your pocket and you wanna pick up seven inch tablet because you're tired of those ten inch tablets there is no better tablet on the market.

-- the Google nexus.

It's out now if you have any questions you can find me on Twitter at Clayton Morris until next time.
