Welcome back everybody -- authorities Australia are still searching for the remains of a surfer killed by -- great white shark.
That attack taking place at wedge island just north of Perth.
A witness riding high jet -- claims a shark popped out of the water and attacked the -- authorities are trying to capture that shark.
This is -- fifth attack of its kind this year in Australia.
And shark -- here in the US are also on the rise is the growing seal population and blame it.
Can people do to steer clear of the -- joining us now to tell us more about how is Jeff Kerr was a producer and filmmaker.

-- -- -- I know you've been.
Doing documentaries for some time -- discovery.
Artists architects -- on the rise or are they just I was seeing -- having more sightings at this time.
Well I think -- really have to keep in perspective because these third and millions of people -- go to the beach in recruiting in the ocean.
Every day and the fact that that people have an occasional shark encounter any -- -- -- It's still very very rare I don't think there's really increase -- -- Well you know we've seen the video over the last several weeks.
The shark sightings.
In Cape Cod and also is some on the California coast.
Are seals to blame for this because I as I understand that these -- are after seals and that.
This seals are moving.
In -- -- in these waters now more frequently.
Well you -- you don't hear about sharks being decimated by over fishing and in most cases this is true but along our coastlines let states sharks are protected.
For the most part and so I think.
The shark populations are really doubt -- there's actually -- Sharks off our coast now -- -- -- -- especially -- -- You got a great white sharks center back after years of being daughter and scientists working at CSU to seal population increase and so that if the -- there and other predators it's -- also coming in Iraq.
Long enough because helicopter looked at CNET T twelve great white sharks swimming in and among servers are right and -- at a market here.
This would run into LA harbor.
There's a lot.
It just goes to show you they're not actually attacking people are not targeting people -- just happy -- year -- -- natural environment.
This and -- people have to be in a way of their food.
Certainly you get on the last.
I said -- US and the people have going to be in a way of the sharks who are attempting to get their food so that's why some of these attacks are happening.
When there -- an attack is mistaken identity -- -- isn't targeting person but I.
A surfer on the surface sometimes looks like what the sharks normal -- -- you actually see you know.

And don't look too far right so those are some of the things you can do you avoid shark.
