One of them Iran -- top advisors has been blasting the Obama administration.

For their recent Bain Capital attacks after -- top member of the president's reelection team suggested that governor Romney may have committed a quote felony.

Out with papers the SEC now senior advisor Johnson new new to the Romney campaign.

Says that he thinks the Obama campaign should not go down this road.

And this is why he points to several controversial relationships -- the president had with these three men.

Back in Illinois way Tony Rezko a former Elena and also primary revenue former Illinois governor -- Blagojevich Rihanna where he is -- days and Bill Ayers.

There is also on that list of some friends -- Controversial connections and sort of causing problems for the president.

At different points in his career so I'm joined now by former New Hampshire governor John Sununu he also served as White House chief of staff.

Under president George H.

W.

Bush served welcome good to have you here is always nice to be here thank you -- -- happy to videos -- you know what I what do you make of that connection why you drying aligned to these three men and then those stories that cropped up quite some time without.

Actually the point I'm really trying to make is that this is a really dumb White House and the dumb campaign.

That that for them to introduce the word -- and into the discourse.

Reminds people that the president came out of that murky soup.

Of politics in Illinois -- whereas I've said before.

Politician and -- are almost anonymous.

And if if he wants to run that campaign that way and say it's legitimate to discuss those issues I don't think it's very Smart.

Look that's the Chicago formulas the formula.

This White House uses.

They if the president -- -- brought up the comment he made yesterday about business that that you don't succeed on your -- That that shows that he really believes that that government.

Makes businesses succeed and and individuals don't.

And the reason he believes that is the Chicago formula.

In Chicago they give grants to they have friends that support their campaigns and that's what this president has done.

The Solyndra money went to people who were bundle orders and and backers and contributors to the president's campaign so he believes he made Solyndra.

The money that went to fix this -- was the same way by -- and contributors.

We Palin -- -- an and we had a panel attacked by this allows and Bob Beckel said look you know show me a president who hasn't who hasn't done that who has -- that he's added some bunkers.

That's.

That's the last vestige of a real scandal when he runs their show me this and show me that we're talking about this president.

This president runs his white house with the same kind of smarmy philosophy.

That people run things in Chicago.

Actually a little bit about says something that you just -- time and that was the comments about entrepreneurship and building your own business -- you -- build on her own right.

He didn't have the Romney campaign has -- a strong enough job.

Coming out what their own take on on that statement have they seized on that enough.

Well if it happened two days ago let let's let's be let's be fair in terms of timing we certainly have been talking about it a lot.

As you folks pointed out the only people that seem to cover the comments.

-- station the rest of the media seems to ignore it but the important thing about what the president said again.

Is that he believes it.

And he believes the fact that he believes that shows that this guy doesn't understand.

How to create jobs.

So there's no surprise.

There should be because of that statement.

No surprise.

On why he failed so miserably.

Over the last four years in terms of job creation.

He has no idea how the American system functions and we shouldn't be surprised about that.

Because he spent his early years and -- Hawaii smoking something spent the next seven years in Indonesia.

And another seven years in Indonesia.

And frankly when he came to the US.

He worked as a community organizer which is a social -- structure.

And then got into politics in Chicago.

That has been no experience in his life.

In which he's earned a private sector paychecks that meant anything.

You know.

He made some comments about the -- campaign yesterday that that I want to to sort of get your thoughts on you said that they've shown great discipline the running campaign and that they're preparing themselves for the time period just before the convention.

Through Election Day and that you think that's so we will see real engagement.

And there are some folks out there who would like to see real engagement -- today.

Yeah I had most of the folks that people site I would never hired a running campaign.

That the right did -- we're in the middle of July are hot July across this country.

Folks are coming home after a -- day's work -- on the tube and watching something other than the news.

There has to be discipline in the campaign there's a great -- in Braveheart where Mel Gibson's character keeps telling the troops as others are coming charging at them.

Hold hold hold.

It takes discipline to do that and and the Romney campaign understands they're going to have to be tough.

But they also understand the cycle of a campaign and this though the hot weeks of July.

Are absolutely the worst weeks to throw your money at the game.

President Obama spent fifteen million dollars plots.

In the battleground states and move the needle from dead even -- dead even it just shows you that there is a value to being Smart.

And a value to being disciplined.

Well I'm in man has been to the rodeo a couple of times John Sununu is -- very good to talk to this morning sir thank you nice to be -- -- for being here and it is a good reminder it's hot July is a great -- to -- Braveheart so I agree with you I was that I hung -- with -- --
