It's well you today here taking a look at media coverage of President Obama.
And outsource.
Well yes -- it's interesting because the Atlantic actually ran an article.
Saying that the president -- surround himself with people who are outsourcing including the GE.
CEO Immelt.
And of course that company let go about 37000.
Jobs and then another 25000.
Went out went Ryan there we were developed overseas -- go overseas they were developed overseas.
And the question is is is the media -- -- mean that this outsourcing.
A free pass now it is interesting.
That tomorrow actually the new balance people are going to be on the hill.
And although this is -- bash today I'm very interested in seeing how many press are going to really cover.
They -- balance.
Meeting of because new balance of course is mainly manufactured in the United States.
And this is an example and I I if I'm gonna willing to take a bat.
Now we're not gonna get very much media coverage.
For the new balance people and again people are sort of taking.
The Obama outsourcing staff and am not giving it a very careful walk.
Well.
That's an interest in taking you always have interesting take on that and why do you think the new -- Is it.
I don't underscoring now there's a possible Helen just quickly that they -- -- while the coverage because well.
There's no controversy there you know usually controversy is what gets covered.
Well no I mean I really think.
That.
That the people are not taking a look at the outsourcing that has happened.
Under under the president.
Me knows I'm I'm I try and be very fair and balanced I have going to be on the liberal side of the out myself but.
I am -- and pretty upset about the fact that.
It's not getting a much more in depth look particularly the GE outsourcing of jobs it's that are.
Okay well we are getting some of that from from from a more conservative media but again mainstream media is sort of not -- that.
Another -- that's kind of interesting is the president you know made his speech the other day.
And he made a speech talking about small business and getting help from from government -- -- -- -- yes well the more conservative media took a look really at where does this.
Where -- -- this come from.
Where people wearing a small bit how much of it was really innovation of individuals and count on is is at big government in some respects and in fact.
The big journalism web -- took a look at this again more conservative but we haven't really heard anything.
From the liberal media doing a war in depth analysis of the president's remarks and how much of new business is really.
From.
From government and how much of -- is innovation and individual businesses individual business people.
Making making a mark so to speak and so we've seen it sort of -- one side of the -- but we haven't really seen that fair and balanced piece.
From the other side or from mainstream that sort of that remark -- went positives.
Well I'm sure you have you'll have a lot more to say on both of those topics Allen will remind everybody to catch yellen on news watch which is hosted at.
By Jon Scott.
