Thank you all right we're gonna cover a couple about topics starting with this -- from.
Politico veep stakes.
The fine line between safe and boring of course the big talk is that -- Ron Portman senator from Ohio.
Is the top contender say that perhaps he may be too boring.
It's your answer -- is that -- concern or or is boring and safe a good place to be vs the potential wild.
-- Well boring if they can be two different things I personally don't find for Portman at all boring I think after.
All other hoopla around Barack Obama for years ago before they use it great -- rock star.
And I think.
The American people probably ready for something different rock stars are great when you're going to concerts -- need that you want these movie stars and all that excitement I don't think we necessarily need that.
In that -- commander in chief and -- Romney is a good steady.
Performer on this we've seen him kind of be the same guy throughout the primaries I think that's good -- -- -- to his credit.
And I think Portman would fit in just fine in terms of experience you down you know Washington with the states.
Experiencing it governor you know as -- -- been and then Portman is Washington experience.
So I think at the -- they particularly.
In contrast to Joseph Biden to.
Has had him being in very thing gaffe thing kind of makes people chuckle a little bit of having somebody who says serious with serious grown up.
To -- another series -- -- up I think could be a very positive thing the only people.
We're going to think at the negative or people who would never support around anyway that's -- you can let slip that Basil.
Trying to go ahead you.
I will say that most voters when they go to the polls they don't vote based on the vice presidential pick they vote the top of the ticket so what you look for in -- vice presidential candidate.
Is there is a good campaign you would somebody that's actually going to rally the troops that's going to really energized the base.
Whether that person is boring or not is a -- of the story but you want someone who actually is going to bring people out.
Because they're good campaign are -- they actually are big compliment.
The top of the ticket that complement the presidential candidate well.
Where it's a complete opposite or it's just.
Mingling of slightly different qualities.
You want someone that creates some ballads and most importantly you don't want anyone could bring to take it down okay -- somebody that's not particularly controversial either.
So someone that's actually a really good campaign and that's why -- actually Portland works well because if he can get.
Ohio.
And you know whether it's whether he will we you know blows everybody without him in Ohio were actually does gives -- one or two extra points.
No Republican has won without it so that's actually an important potential.
-- that you guys are both in the same page and that went okay.
Moving on out to an article from foxnews.com.
Business groups criticize President Obama over remarks about government's role -- it says.
Probably heard this couple comments that president making comments.
During is as speech -- to support his run at Virginia just to get our viewers up to speed arguing that successful business owners got help from others along the way.
Suggesting they should pay more attention paid more in Texas and return.
He noted how government -- provides the infrastructure needed it.
For success and here's the quote from president that has everybody talking he says if you've got a business you didn't build that somebody else made that happen.
That's what I'll start with you on this thing is very apparent that a cool or part two of that message that perhaps the president left out or is he out of touch on this.
I have a small business and I built it can Obama Soviet -- interestingly enough I think.
This is what a lot of Democrats that were criticizing him over the being.
Attacks worried about.
It's a slippery slope I think it's I think.
It's a poor choice of words that he hasn't found a way to spin out of quite frankly.
I don't think it's framing a certain type of attack actually just think he's going down a very slippery slope.
And he needs to pull himself out of it because.
This was the concern you don't want to hit.
People who -- of the job creators even -- they have created a hole a couple of jobs obliquely.
But you wanna hit the job creators and most importantly you don't want to attack small business owners that is the lifeblood of this economy.
And it seems like he's going down that route.
But -- the Democrats need to be able to stop it in its tracks of that he can frame the debate the way he really should be friends so you.
Well I'm not sure he's saying that.
Perhaps there is -- different debate that he hasn't used to -- -- right I think so I I think certainly listen he wants to be able to attack Romney on his record of being.
I think that's appropriate but you know mommy's gone out and talked about his record there and Obama is right to be able to attack that.
But what it what also seems to be happening is that.
In in making these attacks against being against Romney at being he's making attacks against private equity he's making his attacks against.
People who start businesses in the appropriate response to any of the any of the push back by Romney was the president to come out and say well.
You know you support small businesses you support -- -- people's ability to go out and work hard but when you were being.
You took that right away from people by shutting down some of those businesses that's what you can say but don't go ahead and attack the small business -- -- owner by saying you didn't do it alone.
Let me get back Sheri in here know what you -- -- I think that it really that the president's is falling into his biggest negative anyway.
I had stars yeah he's hitting his policies that things he's saying it becomes apparent that the on the kind of capitalism.
He believes -- his crony capitalism I mean taking tax dollars and handing everything is buddies.
I know -- -- -- he's CNET news lately that they here's here's the other thing.
He's not creating jobs and never created a job is in his private life ended prior to getting in politics.
And he's starting to come off like a guy that really doesn't know what he's talking about that he doesn't understand the economy doesn't understand how jobs.
Are created and he seems to also forget.
Having you know never create -- that the government doesn't have any money till they take it from you and me I mean that's that's where they get other money anyway so everything the government has -- and I -- people.
Comes from somebody else's hard work comes from somebody else creating those jobs and creating businesses.
