-- psychologist doctor Lisa Boesky joins us doctor -- Well we know that a typical 24 year old who goes to a violent movie.

If they -- also I'm -- shooting spree but we do know research shows if someone already has aggressive -- -- Is already predisposition only Apollo you know had the violent tendencies they're attracted to these kinds of movies and violent video games.

Then is there any.

Value it didn't.

The pressure on Warner Bros.

-- you suspend these -- insurance to me that -- gonna idiotic but I understand any of our people get nervous what are you going to.

Well keep in mind this is a mom who when she got the call.

Said you know instead of that's not my son that's not my -- could never do this she say you've got the right person.

So she clearly saw warning signs whether or not health disorder or aggressiveness.

And so if if it wasn't this movie it could be another movie if it wasn't a movie it could be another situation so I don't think it's the Dark Knight in particular.

And let me just say that's not to blame the mom -- hands are tied friends and families who saw the warning signs here which I'm sure there were tiny.

You can't have someone arrested until they do something wrong and you can't -- -- in a psychiatric hospital except under very strict circumstances.

So my belief with this young man if it was and this movie theater at this time with this movie it would have been somewhere out.

But doctor it's extremely did we overdo this -- thing now the talk that.

Obviously a lot of folks are gonna go to -- to this weekend if your mom or -- I can understand it's agreed on not this weekend.

All that is obvious but can we -- do that -- play into our fears and paralyze ourselves.

Well -- or not I actually think the opposite you know elected officials are saying this is an isolated in sitting don't get all upset.

I don't think we need to be worried about movie theaters I think yes were overreacting they are but I do think we need to look at the onslaught of -- -- that our kids are being exposed to we need to look at how guns are getting into the wrong hands.

And we also have to look at the cuts in our health services this is a perfect storm for incidents like this and tragically I predict we will have more incidents of these rather than last.

Doctor thank you very much.

But it was.
