Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Mario Molina from the fox -- weather center with your forecast for.

The southern plains as well as a southwest and it's going to be another very warm day out across portions.

The central plains or going to be seeing widespread high temperatures into the triple digits.

Once again today so we saw that activity over the weekend and we're expecting it to stick around not just for today but even as we head into Wednesday.

And there -- -- for many areas -- one of those places -- Oklahoma City today to see a high temperature at a hundred degrees this afternoon 98 over in Dallas Texas.

And 99 for your anticipated high temperature in Amarillo Texas she hasn't had a -- triple digits as well proportions and a bad head down into parts of Arizona Phoenix a 10203.

In Las Vegas but these temperatures are actually not too far off.

From where they should be at this time of the year so again just very typical conditions out here.

Otherwise a hot day for Denver Colorado you could be seeing a high temperature at 98 degrees.

And a beautiful day in -- -- Liz 79 degrees your high temperature out there.

Showers and thunderstorms once again today will be firing up across parts of the Rockies including the four corners and even as far west.

As Nevada and northern portions of California's -- needles embarrassing to see some light showers throughout the day.

And also some basically some cloud cover southeastern Texas you're also opening get -- on some showers and storms heavier during the afternoon hours.

And then by Tuesday morning showers again across southeastern Texas and the scene thing.

For the four corners but Nevada and California you will be drying out so expect some drier weather as we head into Tuesday and even -- week.
