Back of -- segments and -- -- we last left Charles Krauthammer there was this.

If the election were held tomorrow.

Tomorrow.

Who would win.

Obama because if you look at all the Posey averages if you had a two point edge.

In the popular vote it's almost inconceivable.

Did you have that strong and over.

Excess.

In the over.

The vote and lose in the Electoral College costs -- joins us now from Washington a -- you got a lot of reaction that.

I did that I feel like a presidential candidate you quoted me out of context.

-- then continued to say the elections not be held tomorrow.

And he's going to be you know the November gonna Rami was going to win and I gave.

The reasons why that's true I've seen all over the Internet.

He was I -- predicted Obama's gonna win.

Look what I know what I did and today -- we didn't do that the Internet.

Theater it was just -- right idea.

But -- always -- always instructive because the reason answer questions because we're at a place now.

Where I feel it's almost inexplicable that the president is running so strong -- -- state of the economy and everything else that's why I asked -- Well I agree review.

Are you would expect the president and his terrible economy.

Would be way behind in these -- and the reason I say at the time which is two weeks ago.

That Obama would win was not some deep analysis.

And do the arithmetic.

You take an average of the polls nationals.

You put them together that reduces your margin of error because you have -- iron humor writer and a -- denominator.

And if you're up by 2% you gonna win.

-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Do you well sorry well.

Now I gotta get angry man there was no there was no anthrax in -- human.

Look.

It was people saying they're disappointed in me or -- -- we can't let this happen.

Can't -- conservatives -- only got to get out there and vote.

But the fact is I think Romney does win in November.

And the reason is it's a pretty static race now.

But it's not going to be static forever.

And the dynamic is that the economy -- -- you hear that from the chairman of the Fed on down everybody says it's weakening.

The recovery never happen people -- a highly disappointed.

Nothing is gonna happen economically between now and Election Day it's gonna make any material difference.

Hand Obama has nothing to run.

On -- -- I mean it's a bad economy and actually it's so either vote form on more hope but that's all.

Now -- psychiatrist most of you know that.

And he listened to my debate with doctor -- tableau not today but on Friday.

When this Colorado story broke.

And I said that it was almost impossible to get not -- street even -- -- -- violent tendencies doctor Abdullah -- -- -- you agree with -- -- on.

It's correct.

I think once once again and you.

Stumbled on the truth.

I think you're absolutely right.

Every time you get one of these terrible incidents the first thing is gun control.

What people never talk about.

Is the idea of getting people who -- that dangerous.

Off the street now it's not easy you can't always predict and this is it.

The case here in Aurora is a difficult one because we don't have a paper trail we don't have a lot of history.

But I give me the example of the Tucson shooter.

Within a day or two we knew the guy was clearly psychotic.

You heard from his teachers you heard from a student.

In one of its -- -- who said she dropped out because the guy was so scary so you've got everybody around him knowing.

That he is a threat he could go off scaring people and he doesn't end up.

In custody meeting mental health custody.

Until -- commits a crime but when I was young when you're young when I was practicing psychiatry.

At the mass general hospital and I was running the -- the psychiatric.

Emergency room I could commit people who I thought more dangerous to themselves.

And to others was very little restriction.

Today the restrictions are much higher the barriers are much more difficult to overcome.

And the lawyers are out there just waiting just way too soon you and a -- -- you think the ACLU for that by the way they or in the forefront.

Of dismantling the authority that you had.

Decades of.
