Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Maria Molina from the fox inching weather center with your forecast for the southeast.

And today's going to be a scorcher out across portions of the southeast specifically and parts of Georgia Alabama and Mississippi where temperatures have been slowly increasing over the last several days.

And now we're talking -- triple digit temperatures in the state of Alabama where Montgomery you're expecting a high temperature at a hundred degrees.

Dish I have a hundred -- -- and -- in 98 over.

In this city of Nashville Tennessee and of course other issue out here is that when you add in the humidity it feels even hotter so he -- saudis.

We'll be well into the triple Digisette across parts of the southeast we have a number of heat advisories in place across state of Georgia Alabama up into Tennessee.

And into the midwest and of course across the midwest needs talking about triple digit temperatures over the last several days and today once again seeing more heat Saint Louis a 105 for -- high -- for 204.

Over in the city of Tulsa Oklahoma -- just dealing with the heat out there and also the humidity.

Otherwise as far as rainfall goes we won't be seeing some of that activity specially during the afternoon hours across portions of the southeast.

-- already seeing some of that early today across parts of western North Carolina into the west of Raleigh you -- to see most of the activity you'll be very hit or -- in nature mostly the southeast this is going to be dealing with sunshine and those hot temperatures.

And as we head into basically Thursday morning the Florida Panhandle dealing with some moisture.

As some showers will be impacting parts of -- ten -- through Tallahassee expect to medium run less cash.

And possibly see some weather related delays -- along some of those roadways otherwise as we head North Korea's isolated showers across parts of the southeast.

Heavier during the afternoon hours and then as we head into Friday we're gonna start to see a cold front pushing eastward.

And this is -- will have some drier air behind it still had a Mitch you're gonna have to deal with some heavier downpour showers and storms.

-- from parts of the northeast into the mid Atlantic and impacting us across the southeast as well.

Heavier rain across up parts of western -- North Carolina and South Carolina -- and also northern parts of Georgia and Alabama for early Friday morning.
