Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Mario Molina from the fox -- weather center with your forecast for.

The southern plains as well as -- southwest and it is going to be a scorcher today across parts.

Other south we're talking about widespread high temperatures into the triple -- just look at Memphis a 104 where hi I'm 110.

Over in the city of little -- Arkansas and a 108 degrees in the city of Oklahoma City.

And it's not just today that's gonna be hot but also as we head into tomorrow and also into your Wednesday so expect these hot temperatures to continue in place.

You're also gonna have to deal with a lot of humidity so those heat in his -- will be.

Even warmer down -- as a -- areas during the afternoon hours so keep that in mind see hydrated CC -- right ahead indoors into the AC.

Otherwise as we had westward it's actually going to be cooler across parts of the -- southwest.

I -- Phoenix and Las Vegas sent parts of the plains it's -- usual 98 for your -- Phoenix.

94 over in Las Vegas and Denver on the warm side with a high temperature.

At 92 we are gonna get some precipitation showers and storms across parts of the central -- southern Rockies very typical for this time of the year.

We're already seeing some of that activity early today across parts.

-- western Arizona and some of that moisture riding over that ridge of high pressure that's actually producing those hot temperatures across parts in the south.

And also producing some heavy downpours right now across parts.

Of northern Missouri and also into Kansas the very short -- in -- you're gonna see that coming -- and go.

And unfortunately not really bringing much of a relief to those drought conditions that we still have in place across parts.

Other central plains take a look at Tuesday morning still dry across parts of the central plains -- widespread dry conditions.

Four corners you could see some downpours here and there -- some not wish to actually creep into parts of Southern California as we head into Tuesday morning so keep that in my new medium run us.

Otherwise by Wednesday morning still -- generally dry across the plains Texas looking at generally dry weather.
