And I was actually in new York at the time was getting ready for for my wedding environment -- interest -- one month away from when I was exactly and I went out for Iran and my vision changed a little bit.
And also I had -- some tingling sensation in my hands in -- I got back to North Carolina were -- my husband and I were living I went to the doctor and basically between three days -- zionist.

Call from the doctor and I thought.

So it creates lesions which actually interrupt the connection between the brain and spinal -- so it interrupts the messages -- And it can impair you physically -- Absolutely emotionally.
Some people are wheelchair bound some people.

Others had just tingling there's just it affects people differently -- and disease.
So when you from the process I was just -- with this disease to I'm going to do something.
Well after I think the shock wore off and the region in stages.

Basically I had lost my -- life.
And one sanity stages they realize that there's a lot of people besides myself that are going through this.
There's there's information out there but I don't believe that there's enough.
Emotional information to help us.
And I think I've been privileged in the living in different places in and having exposure to different people that I felt that.
I need to help myself but I would consulate open people and so the big hike came out.

Team multiple sclerosis bring exposure but also to you really encourage others who have this disease.
When I first was diagnosed I -- really know it was.
I kind of likened it to Jerry's kids just really had absolutely no idea thought.
I'm gonna be -- and and there's a lot of other people that have been diagnosed that actually have these feelings not only the bereavement what is this on my going to be affected.
So I realize that in order to help I needed to do something that was a little daring a little.
In order to bring awareness.
To the disease -- encouraged to people joint knew how to how to get involved they can for short walks or if they wanna do -- big you know ten or fifteen mile hike of those absolutely on our website.

Bonds with a person with with -- -- who has multiple sclerosis also others and I believe that within the women most women are affected.
They're not coming down and not necessarily getting hope that they need.
Also within the cognitive tasks that are being done there's not -- That balance between being able to speak a couple of different languages.
Processing information that you need to process.
In English but yet you might be processing in Spanish.
There's I think there's a really.
-- variants that needs to be addressed when it comes to -- multiple sclerosis.
There's a lot of information that's.
Not really known and I think -- in the medical community.
There's there's a lot of change needs to -- And and I'm hoping that I can -- -- House and then put them.
