It is a testament to republic hit -- women.

No I mean not only was this stunning.

Upset victory but it was a it was a trouncing it was a double digit trouncing.

Which which makes it all the all the more sweeter for the Tea Party and -- Ted -- You know every time one of the Tea Party has a victory like this.

You know the media tends to sort of brush it off as some sort of fluke or some sort of sort of further evidence that the the Tea Party is kind of riding over the cliff with a bunch of wackos.

And of course every time they have a loss the media rights is quick to write the obituary.

But the truth is we're -- -- much larger.

Thing here.

We're talking about you know -- conservatives had sort of been successful against Democrats for a long time in the US.

And quickly found out you know and in the last ten years that that they've got a bigger problem and that is in their own house and they have turned inward.

And they have gone after the GOP establishment and they have they have -- they have sort of brought far truer conservative principles back to.

A lot of quarters of the Republican Party and that is no small feat and and that victory last night is proof.

That those that that the people that support the Tea Party candidates.

It's it's alive it's well and I I suspect we will be seeing.

Evidence of that over the next three months.

You mentioned the obituaries being ridden too early as it turns out for the Tea Party may be that the correct obituary should be written.

For the party establishment within the Republican Party or party centrists and we've just gotten word of a -- from Ohio the congressman Steven -- threat.

Who has announced that he is not running four reelection.

There he is on the screen the -- very close ally of John Boehner is.

What's gone wrong with the centrists in the Republican Party what is this say about their future.

I think you're exactly right Rick and -- the wrong a bitch where either the obituaries are right but they they just got the name wrong in in -- of them.

What we're seeing here is that that the it and it's so funny to watch the media vilified so many of these these Tea Party people you know they they do it sort of broadly.

And not specifically what is the truth -- a lot of them are just they just believe in a strict adherence to the constitution they believe in fiscal conservatism.

And and so much you know it's so many of these Republicans that stay in Washington too long.

-- they forget that they forget what they're here for and they've they've become really -- -- compromising.

And not just compromising in terms of trying to get deals and make things work but actually compromising on principles.

And compromising and a way that everyone here wins everyone here in Washington wins.

In terms of spending and things like that but everyone that's paying taxes -- the country loses.

And and that's the kind of thing that that the Tea Party in the Andes to the rest are conservatives are trying to just rip out of Washington and they're doing a very good job -- -- from.

From you know in the most unlikely parts of the country not just places like Texas.

But places like Florida and Ohio and it's today you know I think for the GOP it's it's very painful and very concerning a lot of ways.

But I think that I think the blood letting them in the end is probably going to be a good thing.

What's the take away for speaker Boehner.

Making a deal last night with Harry -- to keep the government up and running.

For another six months a lot of Tea Party here is not happy with that deal.

But what do you think is the take away here for the speaker as he tries to cobble together.

Some votes to get stuff passed in the house.

As long as you have people in who the legislative bodies.

Trying to sort of cobbled together legislation that can actually get there.

This sort of thing this sort of upheaval is gonna be immensely painful.

And and and I don't I'm I I would not want to be John Boehner right now as he's trying to sort of cobble together some of this this stuff.

But I still think that in the end it's a good thing.

You know there on the democratic side you know you don't see the sort of introspection you don't see this sort of house cleaning.

Say hey we're getting way for a principles we need to go to they're playing you know the exact same politics that has sort of deadlock Washington for.
