Democratic mess San Antonio man is going to make the keynote speech at the democrats' convention.
Florida increasingly important it seems in this in this election year.
And I wouldn't be at all surprised if Marco Marco Rubio ended up is the as the VP nominee for governor Romney would you I mean -- Florida -- It could well come down to Florida.
Well -- it.
He does come in Florida and -- -- Romney.
-- to win tonight he cannot win write that -- -- Obama can lose Florida and still win the election -- -- most of the electoral -- say that that may well happen.
But Romney's path to the White House run through Florida that's yet full stop.
You know I've said before that I thought Romney would have been under is more to try to recruit Jeb -- under the ticket.
Right precisely that -- right.
Marco Rubio you know yeah he's obviously got some appeal in Florida -- You know you gonna do have a little bit of the Sarah Palin problem again you know is the guy really ready to be president of the United States.
-- not so clear.
So why I think that they could probably see Cuba from his -- I think probably get there and if I'm not.
-- no I think that Marco Rubio does get through a couple percentage points in Florida as any VP candidate will get you in their home state right which can be absolutely is crucial for Mitt Romney I think that.
The other case a lot of people are making for Marco Rubio is the Latino vote in the Hispanic vote and how crucial that is with.
President Obama having won two thirds of Latino voters in 2008.
And whether that could be.
Reproduce that sort of massive victory and in that community people say Marco Rubio because of his -- and and Latino origins would.
Possibly possibly help Mitt Romney with lat Latino voters.
I think that's a very difficult case to make it shows that the Cuban voters and -- -- supporters of -- -- read rubio in Florida are very different then.
So -- -- voters from all other parts of Mexico Central America.
And so I think there is going to be a hard case to make -- Marco -- And I do think that it's not just Florida Mitt Romney he's doing Virginia he's doing Colorado needs to win a couple of these -- -- you're okay this is critical exactly I felt it had an island.
A ball we're on the subject of of rubio and the VP stakes.
We we -- it would go to find out soon heavily.
But now this I guess is a suggestion that we may have to wait until.
And Romney's holes has competed in the dress -- But in London the force ballet you'll never -- this fabulous ball -- about Gundy had to -- yet.
I'm only gonna wait a job item now on -- I -- you know would unfortunately.
They have the fact that frankly were reduced to talking about these kinds of issues instead of the big picture issues that are stake in this election.
-- indication of both campaigns are playing small ball in -- way right.
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- You have to remember that the -- Miami was inhabited originally.
By the refugees.
-- Cuba when Castro where in the in the Communist revolution there so they came over -- -- professional money conservative class.
And the fact that there Latinos doesn't mean that they're gonna vote in the same way it's as to have -- right out from Mexico or.
So that's a very kind of right wing lean -- Latino vote but it's a very small vote overall in the -- general.
Inclusive policy that allows for certain types of if not amnesty then allowing.
You know people whose.
Parents and grandparents came here to -- -- the way that President Obama through executive order has.
Allowed I think you're gonna have a hard time reconciling the more moderate -- policy of -- BO with Mitt Romney when you have the vice president.
For the vice presidential nominee falling in line behind the presidential candidate.
Which is precisely the job of the vice president right nominee right it's going to be tough to get.
-- to get -- rubio to fall in line on an issue that's probably so near and dear to his -- yeah.
And compromise and his political future and his own political temperature right and it's hard and -- and -- -- on the question of vice president.
Does this LCS says look at it this way even if you like President Obama why would you want Joseph Biden as VP for another boy that's a -- -- -- I didn't think ultimately this election though as we all know -- we've said it again and again it is gonna come down to economic issues.
And an interest in.
