He's tweeting this is now my favorite segment of the morning and could get that out there right now wintertime wake -- grandma for this one you all remember this colorful top from TLC's series toddlers and tiara to.

-- -- Tell -- yeah.

Not.

-- -- -- My -- and you know I am really.

What's happening here.

-- half hour at -- every week okay well after the storm of controversy.

Over that little -- highly caffeinated special juice that you just heard her talking about.

She's getting her own spin off show Clinton.

It's about time TLC -- it's all crossing the line be a psychologist James vs saints now he joins us now -- nice to see you.

In a good to see you is this a sign of the apocalypse.

-- -- Well to a degree it is and you use the word crossing the lives.

Mean there used to be a line where we protected the innocence of children.

And this is a spin off of toddlers -- -- and it perpetuates the same values.

And this is exploitation.

Of children it jeopardizes their mental well being it -- it jeopardizes.

Basically.

Their relationship with their parents what they think as parental love me we have three and four year olds on toddlers and -- -- Who were dressed up.

Like basically.

The oldest profession.

So it's shameful -- you -- climate change.

That would be cross now to have a spin -- show just perpetuates that.

But who's to blame here I mean it is that the viewers obviously that -- the success -- -- tuning in what's the issue here and is it.

-- like to see a train wreck happening or are the media companies to blame for deciding to put this thing out there is -- -- people don't watch it.

Well it's a reflection of society that there's a demand for this but there's always been a demand.

For things that perhaps art edifying.

And there used to be a notion of corporate responsibility.

And institutional media companies.

And when they would cross a line and I think -- it this particular show not only does it victimized children.

But it also induces parents to engage.

In what is parental misconduct.

And it's not just an ethical issue for the corporations.

I mean there's legal issues here yet when you watch these shows you wonder why Child Protective Services aren't coming out.

So it's a bad reflection on society.

And it's a bad reflection on the institutional media culture as well.

Any talk about the ethical issues and she was just talking in there that -- about her special juice by the way her special -- a concoction.

A Red Bull and Mountain -- Highly -- -- Dave Briggs is not -- -- that's what he drinks before the show.

And so it's a this is a little girl -- drinking these highly caffeinated drinks I mean again does he -- bear some responsibility for some of these these stunts.

Well they absolutely do and you know we live in this aside I mean what -- Mayor Bloomberg think about go hoosiers he wants to -- Just the high sugary drinks.

This is this has the high content of caffeine -- and it's.

It's it's very unhealthy for the child.

And that the child is -- the child doesn't know well.

-- James thing that works in justifies it but the networks -- him walk were just there sort of as a boy years right we've just got cameras and they say look according that it -- the series will -- to family doing what they do best four Wheeling through mud pits and picking up -- -- -- family -- That's what other -- they're saying about these different show notes.

Well I understand -- the look the reality show culture is bad enough when you think of the viewers and so many of them are young children.

Not only now -- they subjected to role models like.

Kim Kardashian and and smokey.

What now it's the power the influence of their own peers and engaging and very questionable behavior aberrant behavior many times that has power over these kids.

And so I would think you know we the cable industry the television industry.

Has a long tradition of self policing.

Right this may be a time for the networks to consider to exercise that aren't answers -- your media psychologist thanks so much for coming in and talking moments.

What's my pleasure thanks for having.
