National convention in Florida and we're learning some of the high profile names who will be taking center stage on site well it is adding to a lot of buzz over Mitt Romney's potential running mate.

Steve Centanni is following this for as he is live in Washington with more so it's getting some clues perhaps.

As to who may be and who may not be his running mate -- state.

Well good morning Heather Ainsley with the announcement of the GOP vice presidential nominee expected any time now.

The GOP is gone ahead and released a partial list of those will speak at the party convention later this month.

The top contenders none of the top contenders to be a Romney running mate is on that list.

Those some or all of them could be added at a later date because this list is not complete is not a finalist.

And the keynote speaker is not yet been announced either so right now those convention speakers include former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee.

South Carolina governor Nikki Haley Ohio governor John Kasich Senator John McCain of Arizona the GOP nominee for years ago of course.

New Mexico governor Susanna Martinez and former secretary of state Condoleezza Rice.

And Florida governor Rick Scott the vice presidential pick whoever it might be we'll also get a primetime speaking spot at the convention.

Those widely believed to top the list are former Minnesota governor Tim Pawlenty.

Ohio senator Rob Portman Florida senator Marco Rubio.

Former Florida governor Jeb Bush and New Hampshire senator Kelly -- out.

And the governor of Virginia Bob McDonnell and Wisconsin congressman Paul Ryan.

And Bobby Jindal the governor of Louisiana.

Governor Romney was asked again about his -- -- yesterday and gave no announcement.

And no clues.

But I can't I can assure you that by the third day of the Republican Convention we will nominate a he Republican VP.

So it as stating the obvious and we'll know who that person is sometime before the convention begins September 20s.
