Being taxed for winning a map.
You know that I'm an upbeat and that's authority that is the outfits right or wrong being on the athlete.

Look let's go back to Beijing before we they set the stage for London.
It was not what you hopeful argued trained prepared there was a lot of anticipation people thought she would win the gold there.

Yeah -- you know it was disappointment for me for sure you know I had high hopes that.
Didn't on that podium in you know I was right they're closing ceremonies -- -- that awards presentation the marathons always during closing ceremonies that are standing steps away from those guys in their in their medals and you know I did it hurts you it's not run as well as I'd hoped there.
But you know I've since looked back on time and you'll put into perspective and realize that.
You know that's all part of that God's plan for me and I appreciate the race I had now but.
Yeah I remember running into that tunnel on the Olympic Stadium -- I dreamed of that moment my entire life and remember coming in in tenth place is being grumpy in a bad knee and in the tunnels is totally silent only here's your footsteps and I was just like god -- like how can this Wentz are wrong like I don't understand what's going on and I just grumpy.
And I felt like us dummies like you know -- this -- and everything that you dreamed of but it's everything you need for this point you're creating.
I'm so I was glad they get that from god in the tunnel looked like came out of that tunnel differently in the -- into the tunnel and you know -- -- my -- around the stadium and out -- I'll cherish for the rest of my life regardless of what place odds and just getting to take in the crowd -- just this huge stadium in.
Just really relishing not -- -- and you know Paddington.
One of the things I've admired about you so much Ryan is that you articulate your faith very clearly.
They're very capable and and there are a lot of athletes who are afraid to do that you're not in fact.
You've been quoted as saying that your coach is -- explain what you mean by that.
Yeah you know a couple of years back in fall 2010 eyes felt like god who is telling me to you take the next step in my faith in.
To put myself whereas the -- -- -- voice every single day and a -- community and to the idea I was to have him be my coach at Arkansas media and so really -- this.
-- -- now and just following his lead you know I don't think every single Christian news out -- as a coach but.
I feel like every single Christian should be.
Really desperate to -- voice every single day and should be intimately connected with him every single day and you know having him as my coaches helped me be more intimate with god -- voice every day and I'm lean on other people he's put in my life can lean on the Bible in.
You know I just didn't make my feet more real more tangible and I've -- god show up intangible ways.
My first marathon with god as -- -- and in Boston.
And I ran a huge break you raise therein TO four.
But one of the things that happened or not -- it's something I've been praying for for years and on the -- -- volunteers -- and always prayed for -- -- that's a one way race.
And sure enough that day we had the best tail and and I remembered at one point there is just looking up at the American flag in -- -- is blowing directly -- Direction we're -- in and I remember just smiling and just locking -- got in my mind's been like man.
He totally just -- my prayer on this day and is really special day for me.
Well you're a special athlete with an incredible story is one of the reasons -- so excited and.
