Well Greg every summer across the country more than three million children eat for free.

At more than 30000 sites from schools rec centers libraries.

It's a valuable resource for families who are struggling and critics say -- nice freebie for those who aren't.

-- -- -- -- -- -- This summer fun cafe and others like it are funded by the US Department of Agriculture in areas where at least half the children qualify for free -- during the school year.

But -- summer anyone eighteen and on -- and a little bit scared to uncles -- table but there's no income requirements no enrollment.

No paperwork all children in the community in that age range can come -- eat with us for free that's why along with fruit -- and crackers these free summer launches come with a side of controversy.

Taxpayer watchdog groups say most Americans are fine helping children truly in need.

However if someone is -- coming from a family that makes -- -- quarter million dollars a year and they're not checking eligibility coming in the door I think most people would would wonder.

They make sure lunches eaten on site and that the adults don't move which.
