Hello Jonathan good afternoon good to be with you good to have you here and the reason you'll -- is because.

A lot of people of told to a lot about Bain Capital.

-- one of the few people who really know a lot about it because you were bad essentially for a lot of this this controversial buying restructuring of companies whatever you wanna call it.

Not give us some background -- tell us when you're there and what you were involved in -- in what capacity.

Well in the very first fox debate the example of American pad and paper also known as amber -- came out.

And I actually work to with them pad to on the 2005.

Restructuring and -- -- me was.

Just the staggering inaccuracies in some of the dialogue going on and you know governor Romney's apparent.

Inability to kind of straighten out the record and what is your first thing about it is he wasn't even there -- during the 2005.

Time -- so you know I was kind of understandable so.

I came forward I think you've seen an editorial -- road in the Boston Herald.

That.

Basically it -- based capital its record and governor Romney's role just is not as advertised.

-- outs away and as you serious thought how low should it be seen his role listen.

This is a company that people have accused of destroying the companies that -- -- or that they border and restructured.

A company that is being accused of Arab sourcing thousands.

Of jobs overseas.

What is your view all of those accusations.

And what is the evidence to the contrary if any.

Well well Jonathan I think the Washington Post implode a fact on the outsourcing issue you have all address the inaccuracies on those.

But the whole notion.

Vulture capitalism -- A company comes and -- just assembles it loses its not what -- capital dollars.

-- long term investors sending him -- example in 1992 it was bankrupt.

When -- bought it they provide an additional thirteen years of employment and jobs to the folks and when they close the plant and Holyoke Massachusetts.

They double locked in helping.

-- -- try and offer assistance to employees so this notion that they are some sort of vulture capitalist.

Thirteen year record of providing employment from when my -- it to when.

You know when I close that one plant is just not being accurately portrayed in the media.

-- Scott you're you're -- supporter of governor Romney at least in terms of the presidential race I don't know what your views work.

During the primaries and -- -- obviously you you would like to see him.

Replace President Obama but that having said that.

You're not happy either though with the way that the Romney campaign has handled the accusations against him over -- I guess.

Well I think you know having you have been through as many campaigns as governor Romney has I think they've been a little slow out of the blocks but.

You know -- hold formality.

The overall campaign right now is just -- You know -- negative.

You know I think a lot of us would like to see governor Romney be a little bit more proactive to some of these.

Some of these attacks but again.

-- wrote in the daily caller that the Obama campaign is playing a grade school game of dodge ball we're throwing everything they can.

To see if it'll stick and you know mark criticism if there is any of the Obama camp -- of the Romney camp.

Here's a little bit more aggressive and knocking down some of these major issues related to his background.

-- Scott you're at you're a business -- self.

And I can edit there's a lot of tore all combat.

The way that these kind of companies that did that big people who run them just wanna close and -- downsize them restructure them make more money.

Told -- us a little bit of bad -- The real emotions that are involved in that kind of operation.

Well there's emotions on both sides obviously for employees.

You know it's bad news when when a company has to.

You know shut down an operation.

From the standpoint of the business side of it.

You know most businessman most honorable businessman.

-- invest in companies to succeed not fail.

And you know a lot of focus has been made by governor Romney's opponents on.

You know the the handful of companies that haven't worked out but I think it's important to note.

That eight out of the -- companies that -- capital both during and after.

Governor Romney's tenure there were successes so I mean we can point to staples G GS to steal some other.

Companies paid out of kind of been a success so legislate a more fair and balanced discussion of his experience and what he brings to the -- was as a businessman.

I think ought to be part of the dialogue.

All right Scott and as they are Romney supporter and you wanna -- is his vice presidential running mate.

All high.

I think any of the ones on the list.

Would be good I'm up I'm partial to Paul -- -- Marco Rubio that's just me personally but.

You know they got to me to test number one are they ready to be president of needed.

And number two governor Romney has to be very comfortable with them and trust them and -- I trust that he and Beth -- and her chamber gonna make an excellent choice I do believe.
