Big news tonight about the Republican National Convention and you are here first to hear it right here RNC chair -- Revis is here with that announcement.

-- NIC is there.

Hey Greta how are you the night.

I drew us since we last spoke last night do that for there's a bit of -- coming -- -- -- that you've added to the speaker's list in Florida senator Santorum senator Rand Paul governor Jeb Bush I'm curious are there any other additions us and so the pressure is.

Well good great we've also -- governor Fallon from Oklahoma.

And I'm really proud tonight to announce as well.

Very prominent role for -- governor Scott Walker.

My governor from Wisconsin.

And -- -- governor too for that matter Greta.

And dad did know and -- -- that with the addition of governor Scott Walker any -- of the lineup who's going to be speaking one or is that still to be determined.

Well we're we're -- we're working with the Romney campaign obviously and making sure that we we're we're -- -- -- get a good flow.

I think a lot of these folks are gonna be spread throughout the week.

But as you know I mean part of making the case for the presidency of the United States that they convention can capture.

Especially when you're running and -- and -- running as a challenger against an incumbent.

Is that we want to tell the -- around -- story.

And telling that story.

Is it will take you know -- take don't tire for days and telling the American people who Mitt Romney -- Why we should all be so proud of the things that he's done.

Really making something out of nothing giving away his father's inheritance been a good five there five grade boys a good husband.

Being very successful in so many parts of his life and so we need to tell that story because I think on one hand.

The question is did Barack Obama fulfill the mission in and meet his promises and I think we can agree at least most Americans actually read didn't.

The second piece of that of course is.

The alternative on the ballot and making the case for Mitt Romney and and that's the piece that a great convention can can portray.

I suspect is true both conventions that behind the scenes that sort of a -- ended the speakers into the hot.

Property real state really is a prime time.

That it's a little bit like herding cats and maybe even a few elbows -- I'm curious who's actually.

Does is that I I you experiencing a little bit of that because is limited not a real estate -- -- sort of for putting out there that he -- there that that first person wants prime time.

Well I mean obviously no one's looking for our -- speeches so I mean on one hand you know.

I think we have a lot of space to work with between Monday Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday.

But at the same time I think in our party and I think it's just a fact we just have a lot more people.

That are new to the scene but have sort of just Starr is all the new governor is the new senators that -- many new congressmen and we we won.

So many seats in 2010 -- created so many.

New stars and our party and and so many new ones that would that are just coming out that.

Mean being able to tell the story through the eyes of Republicans that have been elected diverse backgrounds and have different views.

But all focusing in on Mitt -- story.

It is a challenge but it's a challenge that I think we were -- -- were happy to be in that place or have them too many people then.

Then not enough but we're trying to make as many people happy as possible but most importantly.

Thought about making people happy it's about telling the story using the time wisely.

Is out indeed Democrats have announced that former president Jimmy Carter is going to be part of their programs that put pressure and -- do it gets for a President Bush 43 and you're expected gonna what's -- thought about having president Jimmy Carter at said he sent a videotape statement to Democratic Convention.

Now well he is a good man and a former president that you know deserves respect.

But I but I do think that bringing Jimmy Carter on stage an accident Barack Obama's a pretty fitting place them in that that time of I'm fortunate Malays and high interest rates and rampant unemployment and interest rates and -- system.

It was a terrible time for our economy and I think it's probably appropriate that.

Jimmy Carter is but it is brought upon Charlotte and -- and -- and the Democratic National Committee so that we can highlight.

A similar problem that we're experiencing with Barack Obama.

A person that hasn't been able to lead.

This country out of a very difficult economy that he promised he would fix any didn't.

Would you like -- President Bush 43 be part of your week your convention and if so action as the invitation got out.

Well certainly I don't think I don't think and I think it's been reported that bush 43 can't.

Making the convention and neither can 41 threat I believe it was health reasons that were cited.

The fact that a matter is Greta -- -- much talk is Obama likes to do about George Bush.

There hasn't been a day and Barack Obama's presidency were more people were employed than when.

Bush 43 was president so he has a live with that record.

And they've just completely failed and so it's something that I don't think they can Iran on.

I know they like to talk that way but the fact is they've they've done a miserable job and -- and proved anything.

Right at the brother anyway governor Jeb Bush and the state of -- -- going to be speaking.

Yes he -- and we're excited about that is an innovative governor.

Alternatives and education.

Leader in this country we're proud to have jab part of the convention.

Any hint of when and governor Romney is going to make is announcement of vice president we're getting down -- the line.

-- -- You know it's gotta be before Wednesday of the convention we -- so.

I'm giving that back so I -- I suspect that as well I think that that's I think it out myself believe it actually OK good we're on the same page that and at a C -- it was any guidance and that's.

I really can't read because I'm in the people that know better than me you know two people and that's Beth Myers and Mitt Romney -- And it really is true a -- it it is a very personal.

Choice.

That Mitt Romney is going to make on is on.

I'm certainly probably with -- help but.

It is a very personal thing and it's not something that we all.

You know try to pick away at and call and get in the middle of it's just it is just something that's very personal.

That's something -- going to come to a conclusion on very soon.

This is haven't they -- very much for joining us I hope we come back again and -- looking forward to your convention as well as the Democratic Convention thanks --
