It's just like a plot from the movie police in Tampa Florida are trying to unravel the true identity of a mystery man.

He had a huge collection of fake IDs and military and law enforcement uniforms stashed away.

-- -- CIA navy Homeland Security even in uniform of a boy scout leader all in his apartment.

-- AM.

Gold chip that was missing.

And the -- sort of resembled like AM I'll tell card it's actually scary you know he's he's -- -- uniforms.

Who knows that he's been around -- shows him what his intentions were.

Rod Wheeler is a former homicide detective from Washington and a Fox News contributor thank you for joining us.

So we had uniforms fake ID is police radios -- -- flight suit and helmet also a stockpile.

Of ammunition what do you suppose this was about.

Well it's a couple of things here -- and the first thing to understand is that it's not illegal or unlawful in this country to possess both items that mr.

Antigua -- That's if his name is Roy and people we don't even know that for sure yet but.

It is unlawful if you have those uniforms and that military insignia police -- radio and if you're gonna use it for an unlawful or an illegal purpose.

That's where the problem comes and now this back and a Memorial Day this guy romantic moment to a Memorial Day event down there in Florida.

Dressed as the lieutenant commander from the US military and he introduced himself to the police chief.

The police we've got a little suspicious about that and so that stop the police became aware of this guy and then they -- get a search warrant that's when they found the rest of this stop if you will that he had in the zone.

Yeah -- -- -- say that it is possible that this guy just has a very active fantasy life.

And that might not be something more nefarious than that but.

He is already as you say.

Accused of impersonating one of these people -- fake out -- house.

Well not only that you know the guy also patty and has a criminal history now this guy was on probation and as a matter of fact for violating his parole.

And his parole was for grant -- so we know that this guy has the propensity of being a criminal again you know why did -- have this material why did -- have these police badges it's a lot over the line now one other thing real quickly.

That the police found in this guy's home they found pictures of him holding it and -- out a baby at a hospital they don't know -- hospital yet but guess what.

-- -- what was dressed as a doctor the -- not a doctor so they're trying to figure out who was his baby in this pitcher and why would he dressed as a doctor taking photos and.

Hospital yet that is very troubling and in fact he had a lot of medical beer gear he had -- hospital badges he had the dots right scrubs.

And other things of that nature so questions around that and also.

Boy scout leader outfit.

What's that about.

You know -- again you know what is the purpose of having a boy scout leaders outfit if you're not a boy scout leader and I think that's really the concern here -- and of law enforcement because.

I think that's way overboard for this got to have all of -- stopped.

Including a boy scout leaders out there because the question is hasn't been trying to entice little children and things like that you know it's -- Unusual for person have a stockpile of commemorative police badges a lot of people out collect those things but when you start having police gear tactical gear police radio sirens for your car.

I think it's time to check that person now -- again.

And a NASA flight suit that -- interesting yes so Rod -- thank you so much for joining us and police are asking.

For anyone who might have been a victim of a -- related to this guy so we'll be hearing more about him I'm sure thanks again rod.

All right thank you --
