Many nonunion book has lost more than a foot of that retirement funds in a deal they say protected the union not -- Now those nonunion retirees are out -- added pointing the finger at the president.

If you work hard -- play by the rules that you borrowed your connection I would ask President Obama why.

I have no rights.

And he had all the rights to take my -- away and and never ever look back and say not only -- I take it from Mary Miller but I took it from 20000 other people.

And their families.

Chuck Cunningham is a former Delphi welcome -- welcome to the program you must forgive me if I asked them.

While the personal questions mask how much of you -- pension you lost.

Well personally I lost about 40% of my pensions or can you tell me how it came down how did you suddenly did did you suddenly -- You're -- 40%.

Well I guess I mean it came down over a period of time during media during the bankruptcy but it.

I like so many others.

Had to have assurances for a long time that our pensions would remain whole.

And then when the GM bankruptcy start occur in the auto task force came.

Into play it was.

It became apparent that that they were gonna side pick winners losers and who do you blame for this.

While there's no doubt new rulers to blame.

The auto task force was was basically orchestrating every bit of the GM bankruptcy including.

Our pension terminations the top offs in the unions.

It was all being done by by that group -- the auto task force with concurrence from the administration and in.

-- got this rides you -- an executive you're on the management side of things.

And the management people lost both maybe 40% of their pensions the union side of things they were made holes they lost nothing.

Government money went to the unions is that how it came down is that the split.

Yeah that's exactly split but -- I might point out that I might have been.

In management but most of the Delphi salaried retirees work secretaries clerks engineers they weren't senior executives they were.

Regular working people who worked side by side with the union people who received the top -- to their pensions so.

Yeah I was totally unfair and and done totally if -- discretion of that auto task force for just.

Earlier on this program today so we had to we have the -- cola showing some government emails that they had on -- they put them out that.

Which seem to showed that the treasury had a direct hand.

In saying no you guys don't get it's the union -- dogs it was the treasury that pulled the trigger so to speak what do you make of this.

-- we absolutely believe that and we've asserted that for a long time.

Throughout this three years of our losses.

In fact I think it's interesting I know one of those emails says.

And it mentions quite pointedly that.

The proposal that obviously the treasury was putting forward was going to rubber stamped by GM you know.

The the treasury continues to stand on.

Their statements that they have nothing to do with our pensions.

But that's just not true and -- they cite the G-8 and GAO report which didn't delve into our pensions at all and and failed to mention the -- TARP.

Report that has already found that the treasury played a role the auto test scores played a role in the pension.

Loss for us look down the road for a second do you think there's any hope that you'll be made whole any hope at all.

I I think -- well first of -- -- I believe we have strong case.

And I think we went in the court of law but I you know the judges said that.

We really really -- in -- position of political settlement so.

And I hope we have that -- and Stewart the irony of this is government money was used for.

The top office.

For the hourly union employees we have a solution.

That has been presented to the government.

That involves no government money that involves no taxpayer.

Bailout.

But just would deal with money that the PBGC currently has or has that -- that they have.

In there in their coffers -- -- so.

We have a solution that doesn't require all those things and we'd like to get that done all right -- coming -- come back and tell us if you get it done we'd like to hear thank you chuck.

-- be happy to itself.
