-- -- the US military is investigating but they're not saying much according to Afghan officials though in the area.
They say that US troops were invited to a meeting with a local Afghan commander in -- that Hala Helmand Province in southern Afghanistan it's an area that is.
Seen a lot of violence and fighting though in the last year or so.
It has died down in terms of the amount of violence based US troops were led to be you believe that they were meeting with look walking commander is that friendly meeting agreed this is something they do regularly but it ended up being an ambush late last night early this morning.
