Talk about how the a decision that was made today by Mitt Romney to -- Paul Ryan and his running mate is gonna affect the ticket in the election.

And I'm very delighted to have joining -- somebody who's been down that road before some of the Rick Santorum it's great to see -- Saturday.

OK.

So -- We're both -- -- I don't.

Com let's talk about first of all were you surprised by this election I was pleased -- -- excellent I think.

This moves a lot of very important -- front -- and in this race issues that that frankly -- pushed -- -- -- Obama's rightness personal smear can't -- campaign against Mitt Romney and it's sort of its stock -- On this you know distraction I think.

Now Paul Ryan's nomination is as vice president is gonna force those issues to be discussed because the left things.

That taking responsible positions to control the size and scale.

Government doing things to do to put our fiscal house in order and and doing things to trust people on and and believing in them instead of government.

Is some the American public doesn't want and I I think I think governor Romney's done done a great service.

To the country that putting those issues -- with Paul Ryan and I think he's done a great service for his own campaign I think it's a good move for.

You know I think a lot of people had a very positive reaction and people have been saying before.

Does this say that's for people like our good friend Tim Pawlenty.

But they -- -- Paul Ryan has filed a little bit of a risk because of the the budget and -- -- but for the house.

I'm not sure that I see it is a risk as -- do have a great opportunity to save we have some specific things that we're gonna put on the -- What's interest in.

The election Wisconsin.

They the the recall election of Governor Walker.

I think if there if you don't point 21 thing that may have actually I'm not and governor -- -- that may have been the deciding point for him.

Yeah I think you have to look at that election and say.

If a state like Wisconsin and you can.

Can overwhelmingly really and in the case of this is overwhelmingly.

Reelect Governor Walker.

In the face of taking tough stance.

-- things that you would think in the state like that would just be you know would make you.

Un electable.

And and do it.

And and do it in and stand up and win.

I think he it encouraged him to go out to you know what we need to go out there and be authentic we need to go out there and tell the truth when you go out there and let people know what -- Okay.

I did.

Governor Romney was saying we believe the American people are adult enough to hear the truth about the fiscal shape that this country's -- The sixteen almost seventeen trillion dollars we have in debt.

And we can't just do business as usual.

And expect some how to pass on a decent American future generations -- -- -- sort of said that I think that pick this pick was a very strong pick it says I want this campaign to be about issues I'm willing to go out there and go the American public.

And be an adult with them and have an adult discussion instead of playing class warfare and hate politics which is what this press.
