Our point is we need to preserve their benefits because government promises them that -- organized retirements around.

In order to make sure we can do that you must -- for those of us were younger and we think these reforms are good reforms there have bipartisan -- they started from the Clinton commission in the late nineties.

That's right and meanwhile -- senate sixty minutes congressman Paul Ryan of Wisconsin reintroduce himself to -- the United States the deficit hawk defending his plan to change Medicare.

A plan that some Democrats see -- red meat.

Can they really win by attacking Ryan's budget alone -- the democratic governor of Delaware.

The -- -- -- -- mark -- is our guest this morning has an avid Obama supporter and the chairman of the National Governors Association are giving him good morning hello I'm I'm not here this morning as chair the National Governors Association know you're here because you are eight and Obama's surrogate in you're gonna give is say your impressions of Paul Ryan.

Well first I wanna congratulate him and his family must be -- very exciting moment for for sure sure.

And my view is I think is as Americans understand.

More clearly his plan will understand.

Was really it an incredible mismatch between some of the rhetoric.

And the reality particularly.

When it comes to a growing economy -- -- his his approach very much like Mitt Romney's is more about top -- it's really about.

Taxes taxes taxes.

But how do you grow an economy for the middle class.

When you're cutting things like pell grants.

When it for college students.

When you're cutting things like infrastructure right but you're talking about what you're talking about Paul Ryan's plan.

They're gonna run on the Mitt Romney plan these plans are very very similar number one number so.

Earlier in the campaign Mitt Romney fully embraced the right.

City like portions of it.

Well I I -- you you -- a number of other Democrats feel that this particular plane is unfair to the middle class.

But -- when you look at the middle class of -- country right now what they really want are jobs and so far under this president there'd been no net increase in jobs during his administration.

Well over there have been about 29 straight months for over four million jobs created.

This always let it crawled out of the hole -- this from me is really it's less about fairness unfairness it's about what is the most effective approach.

To creating jobs now I also have a business background and the question is what -- learned.

In the case of Mitt Romney from your private sector.

Experience and again his focus is really.

Primarily focused on how do you.

Cut taxes for the very wealthiest hope that that will trickle down I heard Mitt Romney say last night he wanted to cut taxes forever but if you look at his friend of the Tax Policy Center just -- a week and a half ago.

Looked at his plan.

And if it's if if his plan in terms of the tax cuts for the very wealthiest.

Is it is going to be revenue neutral what it means by definition this is not politics this is Matt.

That the burden gets transferred downward to the middle class and working people but beyond that.

How do you create a strong middle class -- -- -- create a strong economy going forward governor not investing in schools job training and the like let me ask -- this we've talked all about -- Romney's plan but what about the president's -- and I mean.

We heard Mitt Romney say over the weekend that he if elected will create twelve million jobs.

What is Barack Obama's plan to get -- out -- home because we're still women so this is one of the things that really think that the media has missed just a few just a few months ago.

President Obama's signed.

The jobs that to make it easier for companies to go public.

He he knows that so many jobs -- created after companies go public 92% right now taken -- it appears to -- of the fact is he he got it done.

Secondly he's been incredibly focused on promoting exports he's been focused on foreign direct investment he's been focused on.

Innovation I mean I've seen I've I've had many many opportunities with him and other governors of both parties.

Two to be with him to listen to his plans we we hear coming for some reason line that's not picked up.

In the press oh here we are fair ballot she just said all right a governor mark tell the great state of Delaware thank you very much for drive thanks for -- replace it.
