Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Mario -- -- from the fox extreme weather center with the forecast for the northeast.

And today's going to be a very warm day out -- very typical for this time of the year though upper eighties across places like Philadelphia New York City.

And a high temperature at ninety degrees in DC as we head into interior portions of the northeast still a little bit more pleasant like in buffalo we -- expecting high temperature.

At 81 and 83 degrees -- high temperature in Syracuse.

By tomorrow temperatures will continue to creep on the rise like in Philadelphia 8787.

Over in New York City.

And 87 for your high temperature as well and Syracuse the take a look at buffalo and also -- relatively cool 79 for your high temperature tomorrow she and the reason for that is that we do have a storm system that's gonna begin to creep on into.

Interior portions of the northeast as early as late today into tomorrow already producing some areas of showers.

And storms across parts of the Great -- -- -- at Indiana we really need arena here's that's actually some welcome news.

And even a chance for some severe storms -- off towards south.

Across parts basically southern Illinois and also parts of Kentucky so Ford tomorrow morning nanny and cheesy you're operating -- -- to see some showers.

Creeping -- into parts of Maryland Pennsylvania parts of upstate New York as well.

But it's really going to be on Wednesday -- we're gonna feel the bulk of the rain from the storm system those areas of yellow that's heavier rain.

Across states like New Jersey parts of upstate New York you're gonna need the umbrellas and also in DC could be seen some travel delays early Wednesday morning -- head out the door to work.

Or for doing any traveling in an out of some of those -- airport hubs.

Well welcome the rain because we're still relatively dry out across northeast and behind the storm system we're gonna see some very pleasant temperatures.
