We talked a lot about the gridlock in DC a -- nobody seems to be able to get together and -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Well there is a new super pac group of the super pacs have told about a lot.

Slam dunks file looks and the Eagles is the name of this super back it's -- -- college students two of -- -- Daniel -- Ollie.

And Winslow Marshall joining us now from DC good to see you gentlemen.

-- crowd against Jonathan I -- hear that Daniel let me come -- you first you have a very interesting idea -- -- might actually fix this and get everybody to sit around a table told through the issues and get something done.

Beer.

Yes Jonathan the basic concept is was -- I started a super pac that basically.

We thought -- college students the most important thing.

Com facing our nation's future as our government stats on our fiscal irresponsibility.

Bomb man of the deficit we're facing so.

As someone who -- to the left Winslow and myself leaning to the right we sat down had a couple Beers or able actually to come up -- this idea.

We solved our problems our differences we came together we found something in the middle to agree on and honestly why can't our congressman do the same and meet at the table personal personal stuff politician -- politician.

So -- Winslow you -- no -- super pac is raising money.

To buying beer and get the -- a sit down it's it's an interest -- what it's an interesting money raising idea.

-- as Daniel said we yeah we are raising money to hold an event -- which congressmen from both sides of the -- Can sit down around -- -- years to come up with deficit lowering strategies.

And then we are going to run articles in college newspapers.

Identifying which congressman came to our event.

And I got to find a college students those -- to the congressman are actually are.

Interested in protecting the well being -- future generations.

So -- didn't -- -- the point did I guess the serious point is here instead of having these debates.

Via the senate -- that has -- all via ads on TV.

To actually get people to sit down together in -- -- casually environment is that we did that the key here Daniel just taking.

Taking the egos out of it I guess it away.

Absolutely hit the you had a right on right there.

We want to check the egos at the door we personally want these congressmen to be able to talk to each other.

You know stop playing to your party's base stopped playing to the media -- the rhetoric actually try to you know we're all on the same team here.

As representatives these these members of congress have a responsibility it's the United States over their parties and over the bomb and that's what we're only asking out of our congressman to do their job and we think they can do their job much more effectively.

If they get to know the people on the other side of the -- and if they get to socialize if you respect someone a little bit more because you've had a beard -- and you've got to know them better.

-- to hear their ideas are going to respect their ideas more.

And we think there's a place in the middle ground a bipartisan place where we can get a balanced budget -- we can turn around our fiscal situation and we can actually create a brighter future for America.

I Winslow led to one of our viewers -- in here via -- scene is saying I'm and I remember when I was young BO was the solution to ever think -- -- look at this a lot from him but but -- you think that this is that this is a serious.

Proposition you think that you could make genuine headway if he get these guys together.

Yes years ago politicians would battle it out on the floor.

But and then go to a bar at 5 o'clock in the sit down and really work to understand where each other are coming from.

Work to understand each other's perspectives and that's a tradition that we think is an unfortunate to have been lost in that we'd really like to bring back to the city.

So that when you're raising money -- How much of you -- so far.

It's our policy is it's -- are super -- policy.

Not to get specific numbers our goal is to raise 5000 dollars by September so that we can actually hold these events and really grow our are super pac.

-- and really create more possibilities for outraged.

We've seen a lot of donations come in specifically in the past week in two weeks a lot of -- -- a lot of parents of college students.

And really be the -- the response to our super pac has been overwhelmingly positive and -- you know it's just been we've had great support from.

You know of course family and friends but also complete strangers and it's just been fantastic.

And that wins away to people go if they wanna check into this and also to donate.

Slam dunks fireworks and Eagles dot com you can also go to FaceBook -- -- cart page on FaceBook slam -- virus and -- And you could follow us on Twitter.

Asked as he super pac.

All right well gentlemen Daniel to -- Winslow Marshall.

Great to have you -- I think it's a fabulous idea I think -- can help with a great deal.

Of the world's problems -- I applaud your efforts and please come back and tell us how it goes and whether Europe whether the -- -- it's going to happen in September.

Think I'm good thank you -- all right thanks guys have a great day all right.
