Panel Charles.

He hasn't only not done it when the Republicans have attempted to propose a serious plan.

The Ryan plan -- house passed it he demagogue -- he had a speech at American University where he supposed to roll out it was advertisers rolling out.

But his playing on entitlements and he didn't have anything of the sort.

It was an attack entirely on -- -- call that an American who incidentally with Ryan as a guest sitting in the front room mute.

So that's how he's handled entitlements I think the idea of the Democrats if you saw the -- that you showed early in the show.

It's got seniors in Florida saying he wants to privatize he was taken away.

It is so dishonest -- they cannot say openly.

It will take a -- privatize the Medicare from the Medicare of seniors today because that is not true.

So they show seniors who are saying what is not true.

That it's gonna hurt to have camera at least implying is -- -- as a way to to give the impression that actually the Ryan plan is in effect.

Seniors nobody over the age of 55.

Is going to be affected.

The the Republicans have to get that out right away or they gonna lose yeah.

AEI in fact put out a basically bullet points today of facts and we fact checked it about this plan and says this -- -- and no one over 55 affected a fee for service still available in other -- premium support as an option but.

Medicare traditional Medicare would still be available -- Medicare funding growing at the same rate as president -- proposal.

Those are facts about the Ryan plan that often don't -- -- -- the -- it will affect old people just they're not old right now.

So they will eventually be old and I think I guess that's and I really -- very young people that will eventually be an old person who will let me Medicare.

But now lets you understand how silly that -- -- it's not silly actually but it's only for people under fifty but not this is a political point because it's that the old people were voting right.

But they're concerned about who can show right but I'm saying like to pretend it's never going to -- -- people it will affect old people but missiles and I think that's okay because.

What what why -- -- what was interesting where he referred to my agent he said my generation you know and for for -- act serves are first generation that's always worried are you going am I gonna -- coverage.

And in so he's speaking to something that I think really resonates and and I think that that that people his age you know and younger probably -- this argument and so for people who are older who don't want any changes they want things to sustain the same things we'll stay the same.

And then he needs to appeal to the younger people and really explain.

You're probably not gonna get any analysts -- do something listen to my plan and -- doesn't have anything like that offer.

Pat.

Paul Ryan is going to Florida to do that very thing.

This week I think what he -- to do here and get his position down cold you mentioned three points and four point what is gonna do.

When he's not going to do.

I would say -- going to be saved but obamacare is going to the chopping block.

And I would get away from this argument as soon as they can.

I don't think the Republicans want this campaign based on that adjudicating Medicare and what is coming posters in the rest of it.

They've got a winning hand so do you think America's ready for this big conversation on entitlement reform.

I think they're ready but I would wait to have that in the spring if you've got the White House -- -- we talk generally entitlement reform.

But to get into an argument on the details of Medicare it would do two things.

Some seniors will be frightened down there and some will be demoralized with all this off.

That's what he's actually run these -- want to what you know that you hear out there that people are tired of the answers I'm going to do XY and Z and my first term.

And it never happened so why not gets this.

Well because look you've got to three points at a very hey yeah this one issue on which our agreement yeah.

I mean they can go with this on their Medicare position he'll get his future down cold and then -- want.

OK that's it for the --
